Yes, you are correct! Seeing all the CSI workers in there, I assumed it may be the slider in questions. I will go back and edit my post accordingly.Just want to point out that this is a door to the Casita / guest House.
Perhaps LE strategically released at the same time as their release, information about the pacemaker tracker device dangling from a helicopter. That might get her murderer (yes, I think NG is deceased and disposed of) to go back to her body to retrieve her device.IMO - LE released them because they need to find Nancy and allowing them to go I’m sure with the most advanced spy tech ever created watching their every move they’ll eventually lead LE to her.
How do we KNOW the place wasn't ransacked? We have no idea what the interior of the house looked like? He could have very well gone through drawers in the bedroom that was once deemed belonging to SG looking for a piece of lingerie, for example. Photos may be missing. Letters written from SG to her mom, Objects the perp thinks are relics of SG, in his warped mind. We know virtually nothing about the interior of the house. Whatever the family came upon when they went to NG's home Sunday morning was enough for them to know things were "off". Not to mention the amount of blood on the walkway and lord knows the amount that could have been in the house. JMOPossible NG was injured and unconscious, which took so long. It does not appear the criminals were looking for something, or they would have ramsacked the place. NG must have somehow been the target.
I have a feeling that it's not a customary location for the watch. If it was taken off of her or moved from somewhere else and placed on the foot of the bed (or other distinctive location), it would be insider information. And do we know that the watch is actually at the foot of the bed? This sounds like evidence but is it?
Even if so, there are other ways a false ransomer *could* have known where the watch was. He could have seen a police report, he could have been a worker in her bedroom before, he could be a bad cop lol etc.
I do not know obviously whether the note was really from someone involved, but I do think there could be other explanations re the watch statement.
IMO.
Drive out into the desert a few miles. Check google map of Tucson. Choices for a body especially west.If she did not survive, I agree...no point in moving her. But assuming she did...he probably panicked. He would have taken her somewhere that she would not be discovered. And that...sounds ominous, since that whole area is surrounded by hills and desolate areas.
I agree with you; I don't think his DNA is in CODIS. I am more interested in if his DNA matches and DNA that may have been found in NG's house. As far as I know, and correct me if I am wrong, we haven't heard about any DNA found in the house. As @Napoli said in another post, notice what authorities are NOT saying. What do you all think will happen when they upload the DNA into CODIS? Do you think they will get a match or do you think this is the perps first time doing something like this and has never been arrested before?
I'm leaning toward--this perps first crime, he's not in CODIS and genetic genealogy is needed in this situation.
What are your thoughts?
Because she very likely could identify him.I don’t think she left her house alive, but I don’t understand the reasoning for removing her. Ransom? Maybe it’s connected, but I go back and forth on it.
Good catch! Yes, looks like a “square” pattern( from soles).I think he did walk through the blood because I see repeat square patterns that look like transfer from the sole of a sneaker.

That is my biggest concern. Immobilize her and take her out there. That way in his mind he is not responsible for the outcome.Drive out into the desert a few miles.

Welcome back to the thread fold! Yes, many here suspect the porch perp may have been prepping to remove NG. Further, those of us who posit that, wonder if the backpack was filled with tools for that task (e.g. a tarp or body bag).Long time lurker here. I haven’t posted in years and apologies if this has already been discussed and I missed it.
What if the front door camera recorded the end of the event, not the beginning?
If the back door was opened first, the visible footage may not show the initial entry at all. It could be capturing a final moment rather than the first. Given the blood evidence at the front entry, many assume she was brought out through that door. If that’s true, the clip everyone focuses on might represent the conclusion of something that had already happened inside, not the start of it.
JMO, MOO, ETC!
Thank you for explaining this so well, I appreciate it.I think today we will get some answers from the FBI
I am very excited about the glove; I feel a game-changer in this case
The first thing they will do is compare it to the unknown DNA found inside Nancy's home
Second, if they need to will be Codis ( basically people who have been in trouble with the law in the past)
And then DNA Genealogy (combines DNA testing with traditional, document-based research to trace family history, confirm relationships)
The FBI will also be checking for DNA in Nancy's vehicle, which was taken away
So more than one sample to test one on one
I think the Sheriff and FBI already preliminary know, another reason why the statement was given out yesterday
The profile will be built, then the FBI will put it into Codis and law enforcement will take it from there
Just my opinion, but what kind of a kidnapper snatches somebody and doesn't make verifiable contact within 2 weeks?“That’s what makes me say this is a kidnapping,” Nanos said. “The motivation for it is where we get stuck, right?”
“Is it for money? I mean, we had the one demand where they asked for money,” he continued. “But is it really for money, or is it for revenge for something?”
Nanos’ clarification came after a law enforcement source told AZFamily that there was speculation that Guthrie’s disappearance was the product of a botched robbery.
However, Nanos told Fox News that the burglary theory did not come from his own team.
“It did not come from us. No idea and even though that is one of many possibilities, we would never speculate such a thing. We will let the evidence take us to motive,” he said.
Another source mirrored Nanos’ denial, saying, “This is not the working theory inside the unit.”
