Guessing they have a good idea who the perpetrators are and that they have them under surveillance.I just hope all of this information doesn't increase the flight risk.
I think you may have misread my post. I said nothing about the "searchers" gloves.
I referred to the single glove found which is similar to the perp gloves, and which was sent for testing.
IMHO, any disposable glove which has been worn by someone is likely to have DNA on it--even if worn by someone experienced in aseptic technique.
Therefore a commonly available glove that is "similar" to the one worn by the video-perp, which was found almost 2 miles from the crime scene, is likely to have DNA on it and unlikely to have anything to do with the crime--IMHO.
That's NOT to say that it shouldn't have been collected and tested; it just feels like people and the media are hanging their hopes on "this is going to break the case" when in reality it has a miniscule chance of being significant to this investigation, IMHO.
I truly want the test results to be significant and case-breaking.
Sending ransom letters is a federal crime and the investigation into the writers of ransom letters is under the FBI's jurisdiction. MOOHow do you know it was abduction for ransom?
What would the motive behind this be you think?? So weirdI totally believe the ransom note writer has ask them to communicate in movie quotes. There is no other way to explain these bizarre movie quotes
This is merely my opinion. But I am sticking with a female that Nancy knew who had key to her home, and is connected to the person in video. I believe someone had a key and entered. I give my housekeeper and my pet sitters keys or leave them somewhere for them.
Editing to add:
There has been a discussion of sliding glass doors leading to her covered patio area. It looks to me like a large picture-type window with three sections and the egress is through the blue door with small panes on the right (facing).
Exactly. We are only told what LE wants the perps to know. JMOI think y'all are going to be disappointed. They are NOT going to tell you if the DNA is a match on CODIS. They are not going to tell you it isn't. THIS IS ALL DESIGNED TO KEEP THE PERP GUESSING. and the public ENGAGED and ratings UP! JMO
BBM Disposable gloves
It seemed disposable gloves was the subject then therefore, which means for that reason, to explain the subject.
Sorry then the post wasn't clear!
I have not heard that the bulky gloves are commonly available or that they had been identified at all.
Do you have a link that they are commonly available in Tucson?

Ransom letters sent over the internet is a federal crime, even if they are fake.I thought abduction for ransom was a federal crime, but maybe not.![]()
Thanks for that information.Ransom letters sent over the internet is a federal crime, even if they are fake.
But unless the abductors wrote the ransom letters, abduction is pretty much a state cirme, unless NG was moved out of AZ. Fed gov can sometimes use cyberstalking.....
Was Casey Anthony charged with a federal crime? Was Susan Smith charged with a federal crime? Was Scott Peterson charged with a federal crime? The list goes on and on...

RSBMIMO it seems LE is releasing strategic information to the public that is really aimed at communicating with the perpetrator(s). LE may be hoping that the perp or perps get frightened and do something stupid that will give LE additional proof and evidence of their guilt.
Also, IMO, if they try to run, LE will likely follow them discretely with a helicopter and cars on ground that keep their distance and the helicopter pilot will keep them informed of where the perp is going. LE may be encouraging the perps to run in order to see where they go and what they do.

Yes, now that you mention it, I remember back in the Idaho case reading after his arrest that Kohburger had been being tailed by agents for hundreds of miles.Guessing they have a good idea who the perpetrators are and that they have them under surveillance.
Seems that all of this info could cause a flight risk, which LE is clearly aware of or they wouldn't let the info be out there.

True. We don't.How do you know it was abduction for ransom?
Well-said. Good points. Your use of the word "sauntered" is perfect for the casual way the Lantana guy approached the front door. And the mannerisms and action of Lantana guy are certainly puzzling.Right, but he sauntered up to the front door and seemed surprised by the doorbell cam.
Had there been an accomplice waiting inside to open the door and security door I feel the approach would be different. Why take the gun out and display it in an awkward way that prohibits movement at that point (remember he was lingering off frame outside of the vestibule without the backpack on and the gun still concealed before going to the front door). Was the door discovered open? Why even close it in that case (it may have even remained lock as far as we know).
I agree the front door would be the most direct exit point and likely the way to remove a person from the house, and that an accomplice could have already been inside to exit through the front door. But the actions/mannerisms of the Nest cam masked man just don't seem consistent w/ this to me.. YMMV.
I would also be curios if that front door remained locked. I use a keyed double cylinder deadbolt on steel security doors like that. I wonder what the investigation determined there and how it was left. The latest drone video showed the rear patio with no signs of forced entry, and investigators have yet to confirm if there was any forced entry involved.
