Thanks for the information. I'll retract my comment. I wasn't familiar with the difference in varieties across different countries.

Purple trailing variety is probably Lantana montevidensis that has no thorns.

The variety I'm familiar with is Lantana Camara which has tiny thorns and spreads so wildly here that it's a real problem.

i honestly have no idea. certain information has been "reported" but not confirmed by LE, so who knows if it's true or not. i don't have a theory, but i will say i still don't rule anyone or any scenario out until we know more directly from LE.

The best theory i have at this point is someone from the area who just "thinks" she's a "super rich" lady due to daughter's fame. I DON'T think it's a crazed fan. Just someone who has seen her around about town. Someone who is just looking for easy targets so the can get some quick easy cash and avoid the 9-5 grind.

Yes but that doesn't preclude that an accident could have been the trigger for planning the crime.

There have been other cases with delayed road rage. Or maybe, if there was an accident where names and contacts are exchanged, the perp recognized the surname, and got her address.

Its as good of theory as any at this point.

IDK she is an elderly lady, I would think anybody involved in a fender bender, no matter how crazy they are would understand if the other party was an elderly person as elderly people have declining motor skills or eyesight and would let it go. Maybe I’m wrong.

FWIW I do not think her car was damaged. Look at photos of 2025 Subaru Foresters. The bumper has some weird topography at the corners that could possibly look like damage, especially in the dark/poor lighting.

Then why haven't the captors produced a video with proof of life to help expedite the ransom payment? Sounds very unlikely, but I know many of us are still clinging to that tiniest possibility this could be true.

Here 27:09 in to the link shows the vehicle outside the home where SWAT raid occurred 2 miles away. Brian Entin rang door bell and car in driveway appears wrecked. Going to assume it was the one towed.

The post was referring to damage to NGs car towed from her garage. Waiting on sourcing for this assertion. All of the video I've seen looks like NGs car is not damaged.

I found video that has decent lighting showing NG's vehicle being towed. Observing the video repeatedly, I do NOT see damage to the front end. However, as others have also stated, I thought I did see damage the first time I saw the car towed on a television news report. I am wondering if I (and others) may possibly have been viewing video from another news station than the one in this link and if what looked like damage or a long scrape above the bumper was actually just "reflected light" captured by the camera.
