LE and FBI sometimes profile suspects. If they had profiled this suspect, I wonder if it might be a man in his 20s, 30s or 40s who is living with his mother. Nobody has ever reported such a thing, but I noticed that both men were living with a mother / MIL. JMO

Crime scenes are strictly secured, usually taped off with barrier tape to create a perimeter, protecting fragile evidence from contamination and controlling access.

This has not been done.

I also didn’t see damage in NG’s car photo. Is there verification that there was damage? I seem to remember my old Subaru having a seam — for lack of a better word — in the same place as what I saw on that photo.

It wasn't a revenge killing, nor a random psychopathic murderer, nor an accident. Someone purposely wanted NG gone, and broke into her house to get her.

Who would benefit most from her death? Why would they benefit?
It can only be about money.

These are interesting questions. Since it does seem unlikely that she is a victim of random violence, I think we have to consider all forms of non-random violence that haven't specifically been ruled out.

1) I don't think we have enough evidence yet to definitely say she wasn't the victim of some type of kidnapping. Either for money or some other benefit, like attention from someone.
2) She was abducted and killed because someone stands to profit in some way from her being gone. I have no idea how many people that list might include but, since we don't yet have a firm motive, I think we have to consider it.
3) Since she does get out and about, it's also possible that she's unknowingly come to the attention of someone who is mentally ill in some way and obsessed with her just for being her.

I found the DNA expert's story very interesting (around the 13 min mark)
I wasn't aware they cannot use the biggest ancestry databases to find a match.
I am very curious about the results of the DNA evidence of what they found at Nancy's house aswell as the glove.

Love CeCe. The part I think is important is her discussion on what population the perp DNA comes from. A family member of that profile would need to be interested in using their DNA to discover more about their genealogy and the means to do so. That person would then need to agree to upload to GED or Family tree, and also check the box for LE access. I know some that did that with ancestry.com results. There is that capability with the larger companies to upload to the smaller databases CeCe is discussing.

I have wondered if they released them to see if they slipped up and lead them to her or where she is at?

I've thought the same thing. That FBI and LE released them because they didn't have enough rock solid evidence yet (waiting for DNA reports and Land Rover results).

And, I think LE has been releasing a fair amount of information that could make the perps increasing frightened, and LE and FBI would love for them to get really nervous and make a mistake.

And, I also think that they were waiting for DNA to come back from the property, the gloves and possibly something in the Land Rover. LE and FBI want very solid evidence to link them directly to the crime in order to get a conviction.

But that Friday night SWAT raid was serious. Enormous amount of vehicles and LE/FBI presence. In order to get a federal warrant, FBI have to present a lot of compelling evidence. Federal warrants are a big deal and there was a great deal of information in the warrant that led to the judge issuing the warrant. Don't think it was a mistake that they zeroed in on that man.

It would be interesting if it started off as a burglary. They thought she wouldn’t be home. She was, and they took her in her own car to empty out her bank account. Was the garage door opened after she was dropped off at all? I wonder if LE theorized that she was taken away in her own vehicle and that’s why they took it in for processing.

This hasn't been my speculation. However, LE would be remiss if they didn't check the local pawn shops in case the Perp grabbed a few things while he was there. Money and prescription drugs are always their favorites, as well as electronics and jewelry. In all of this horrible turmoil, the family may not have noticed certain things missing. Videos from the pawn shops should be reviewed - I hope they have been

In the Subaru photos that I posted previously, there appears to be damage to the front bumper and to the right front fender.
