DNA analysis doesn’t stop with a CODIS check. As well as IGG, there’s DNA phenotype analysis. CeCe Moore’s company, Parabon Nanolabs, has used that technique in cold cases to narrow things down and eliminate people. Link to old CNN article from 2018:
Yes but where does it end? You cant keep sending non codis matches to genealogy. This is expensive and can produce many blind alleys. jmo

IMO it's a dead end since there is no DNA match.
They need to test the inside house DNA using IGG, see whose it is.

From my understanding, the pacemaker still sends out the signal even after a person is deceased. It's so sad to even think about.
and if i understand correctly, they are able to look for her pacemaker specifically? so not like they would accidentally hit on someone else's?

The cost of submitting DNA to labs for phenotype analysis (or IGG) would be a tiny drop in the ocean that is this investigation’s final bill. FBI, PCSD, SWAT teams – an enormous amount of manpower. They would not submit items randomly or widely.

Every bluetooth device has a unique address number. They can filter to just that address. However, utilizing Amazon's Sidewalk network to try to locate it would probably be easier IMO. I posted a map showing coverage of the Amazon's Sidewalk network in Tucson, but I forgot to post a link to the source Amazon page and got banned 😢

Just to be clear,
The DNA found at the house is still being processed so that is still a lead they can potentially follow, right?
If that's the case, let's hope it's from the perp and it matches in one of the databases 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Probably arrested for an outstanding warrant from a previous case. MOO
Agree, although the booking date was Valentine's Day, this year (2/14/26) per Pima County Sheriff Department web site.

Who is the spokesperson for Pima County Sheriff? They keep referring to a SET of gloves....It was ONE, as in singular, GLOVE. Really irritating......... jmo

Remember that video clip SG released a week or so ago that showed AG and SG as little girls with a young Nancy? That wasnt random or grieving. That was a message. Here is my guess. Stalker took items from the house..Possibly a photo of the 3 of them. That was a message to the perp. I noticed the missing photo. JMO

Isn't that the same day as the raid? Makes sense.

That was my point. This would have to be narrowed in scope. Every discarded similar glove found in a 2 mile radius just can't be considered as a candidate for genealogical testing. JMO

For the record, Bryan Kohberger was arrested (Dec 30), over a month after this press release. At the time of this press release they had not yet gotten a name through genetic genealogy.
I asked earlier, but how long do they have to wait to cross check the dna with the genetic genealogy database?

Also, if the glove didn’t match dna from the house, then are we sure we even have dna from the perp at all?

BORDER CHECKED: Authorities have no indication Nancy Guthrie was taken to Mexico, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told Fox News’ Jonathan Hunt on Tuesday.

Nanos said authorities are aware of the border’s proximity and have checked all leads, adding investigators have found nothing to suggest she was taken across the border.
