So first, like you said it's the Daily Mail.

HK is not going to come back and replace SG if SG wants to return. No way no how. NBC would not allow that to happen and there is no way HK would do that to SG. Loyal Today show fans like me as well as a lot of other people would have a fit! If this whole situation with NG wasn't so sad I would laugh at the DM's "Exclusive".

HK and SG were a great team at Today and I was sad to see HK go. Maybe she will come back but believe me, it won't be to replace SG unless she asks to be replaced. Plenty of other roles HK could take on the s

Daily mail is a site that pays for information, but doesn't necessarily resource the true value of the information.

Would anyone be willing to tell me when this image was released and if LE said anything about it?

I could search through hundreds of pages or some nice person could fill me in. Please. 😘

True and HK does not want to come back. She's quite happy.

DM has no shame which is fun at times but they constantly post nonsense articles based on anonymous sources.

Ok. I took a copy of the photo and played with the light levels sharpness contrast and definition. There is a pattern on the jacket! I'm confident that's a different jacket than lantana guy. It looks like swirls or the way light plays off of rip stop nylon. View attachment 646386
Camo?

Maybe the family want to do them, to get the pressure off their backs.
True, but should the taxpayers be paying for polygraphs done for PR purposes? I hope the government would shut down that idea.

No, the prosecution can not use a refusal to take a polygraph against a defendant. Not admissible. Polygraphs are mostly pressure tactics. See who refuses and who "fails".
Actually more than just who refuses or fails. The true value of polygraphs and the most important part is the detectives that go over the results with the suspect. A good investigator can corner a suspect based on what the test might say and make them change their story or reveal details. Not admissible in court but there is definitely value to using it investigative wise

They remind me of some of the sensationalist tabloids we used to have here in the checkout line at the grocery store lol (sorry for the OT I'll stop now).

We use nest and have their doorbell camera. On the app there is a “familiar faces” option that tracks people with a thumbnail image that’s reviewable. The images don’t have the nest icon on the top. I wonder if this was a separate occurrence (maybe Jan 11?)?

The jacket looks totally different, too!
I never caught the shadow! Good find.
Thank you great info. And very well done ! And thought provoking.

The family have been through hell. I am fine with a polygraph test to take some weight off their shoulders.

Not too happy to hear this as polygraph rests are not fully reliable.
There is a reason they are not admissible in court and nobody should ever agree to take one---even if innocent.
I agree. I feel the same way about sniffing dogs, and blood spatter analysis, too. JMO

And TMZ is milking it for all its worth. Report ransom notes to FBI and be done with it. It is a ploy for clicks and viewership. MY Opinion. TMZ is encouraging more of this.
I would milk it too if I was TMZ. That's how they make their money. I don't think they can help that they are the chosen one in this case.

I think this may have the opposite effect for TMZ. There may be others, like me, who completely tune out TMZ (for this and other things) because of how they handled this. JMO.
