Why would someone need to be interviewed/polygraphed if they weren't in the state and it isn't possible for it to be them?

She wore hearing aids, you don't sleep with them in your ears,she wouldn't hear them,imoo,it took a bit to rouse her awake that would take time,41 min to get her dressed and out and im still with kidnapping for revenge and money,I think personal, someone that was known to her ,moo

I mean I don't know if it would take them 40 minutes to get her out of the house. She would be lucky to be given a sweater to wear with her pajamas and sneakers to put on.

imo, the only valuable thing about polygraphs is a lot of people *think* they work, so they're less likely to lie to investigators.

I think there are alot of factors that go into a polygraph test. Obviously its subjective and people that are generally nervous and still have nothing to hide can look guilty. But as an investigative tool I think there is some value with putting pressure on people. There's a reason it's not admissible in court but it can help investigators with interrogation etc. I think the responses to questions in the follow up of a polygraph are more important than the actual test itself. JMO

My first thought was, were any shoes missing?

Would anyone know? Maybe AG but depending how many shoes she has it may be hard to know. Obviously if a pair of sneaker she was regularly can't be found it is an indicator but I would think it is possible to not know either..if her regularly worn shoes were still there

OK, so I've been behind in the news the past few days. Just watched the video of the neighbor, "J".

WOW. Does resemble lantana man. Quick to point a finger at SIL. Apparently lives 15 min away and revisiting the crime scene, intense interest.

I don't know if this is verified or a rumor that "J's" last name is the same as the home owner where the mother and son were detained that is connected to the RR?

He does. It’s on the ring finger of his right hand. He has a pounchy tum too.

I just caught up and checked out the premonition video of J. The ring on his finger is so specific and looks the same shape as the suspects ring under the glove too.

People can often walk without their cane just slower or not for as long - if someone gripped her arm for support she would move but if they were rushing her I can see her bumping herself or tripping/bumping into something which caused her to bleed..jmo

Maybe it was a real card but not placed there by APS. For a welfare check, you call 911. Who would even THINK (or IMAGINE) NG was being abused? What neighbor would want to call attention to themselves this way knowing the cops were already there? Why did someone jump the gun and call APS? Did they want to imply NG was being abused? Take suspicion off themselves or BRING ATTENTION to themselves? For all we know, that card is a ruse too and may be a more valuable clue than any sleuth realizes. . I am not satisfied with the explanation that the neighbor called APS. MOO JMO

Understandably, I think you took that to mean I was implying the holster was bought at the gun store but that is not what I meant.

I was simply pointing out that those people were being shown based on having bought a similar holster like the man had in the video.

LE looked into all of the places in the area that sold a similar holster i.e. Walmart etc. and that is the list they compiled.

You can not identify the holster off the video and unless they have other video I don't see any agency that would be able to. It's a black universal holster that is sold online, at garage sales, at Walmart, at Cabela's and has been for decades.

Are you saying Levin's "source" stated that? Don't buy it. That's a very, very long-shot. How would they even get those records? Walmart is an exclusive seller of Ozark trail backpacks and those are contemporary, so that's very different. Here we are talking about a vague universal holster that is as generic as they come and sold in many locations and by several manufacturers over the years. I often see them at $5 bins and swap meets, I posted two different current manufactures that make identical looking universal revolver holsters that could be the one in the video.

I don't see any way they could trace those purchases in a realistic or effective manner. I guess they could try but this would be the biggest circumstantial, not linkable, needle in the haystack move. I highly doubt Levin got that info right if that's the only source to this.

If it was a crime scene as soon as LE showed up, or I assume it was - considering what has been said about the signs that instigated a call to homicide, is it possible someone with LE had one of "Debra M.'s" business cards in his/her car and left it behind as they exited the property (after searching) with the thought that NG might come back and see the card and seek help (if help was required). A convoluted theory for sure, but I don't see how some rando (APS employee) could have approached the house when it was cordoned off as a possible crime scene. OTOH, the sheriff says the neighbor called it in, but again, how was Debra M. able to access the area?

But it's my understanding that at this time (Sunday, February 1) the first ransom communication had not been received.

ETA: On Sunday they didn't know she had been kidnapped. I'm sure LE sees all kinds of situations, including elderly folks who get involved with other elderly folks who could take advantage of the person and mistreat the person. They had no idea where she might have gone so is it possible they could they have considered all possibilities and wondered if she had left with a male suitor.

Is the sheriff's office not searching for a specific vehicle that was spotted in the immediate vicinity of NG's home between January 31 & February 1? With residential and commercial cameras practically surrounding her house, they must have captured something.

At this point, either nothing useful turned up, they haven't narrowed it down yet, or they're deliberately holding back a description for strategic reasons.... likely to avoid getting swamped with 15,000 irrelevant tips.

Personally, I'd say bring on the tips. If they truly have the resources (as they've claimed), let the public help flood them in. After all, Kohberger's car was a key piece that ultimately helped identify and apprehend him.

I am sure law enforcement has gone over this a million times. This isn't criticism of LE. It's just me venting my frustration. My heart absolutely breaks for this family.

Nancy was in what should have been the safest place imaginable during her golden years, and that peace and security was brutally stolen from her.

Right - anything is possible but given the background and wealth of SG's husband, I think it is pretty unlikely he is being considered as having hired someone to kill his 84 year old MIL and then they convinced him to fly in for a polygraph. IMO I think it is more likely he flew in to be with his grieving wife and in laws as support. JMO

Do we even know what it was, specifically? I have seen BP meds mentioned here. She has a pacemaker. I have seen blood thinners mentioned here. Is this speculation or was a medication list or even class of medications documented anywhere? moo

I haven't seen any specifics on the meds she takes. I just remember it being stated as far back as day 1 that it was medication that she couldn't go without.

It has to be comforting for SG to have her husband's support during this awful wait.

What this means to me is the woman from APS had no idea about NG, which is what I, having stayed in Tucson, stated. The news is out now, but prior to this I don't think most people in Tucson had any idea of NG or the connection to SG. NG lived in an elite section of the city where most don't go or interact.

I make no guesses about the APS card.

However, I disagree regarding the public, including much of Tucson, not having some idea that NG is Savannah's mother.

Savannah has often talked about growing up in Tucson. Her mother has been on the Today show, and Savannah televised a hometown special in which she went back to her childhood home, talked about her family and early years, and interviewed her mom.

That does not mean that everybody or anybody in Tucson particularly cared about that until now. But for those who did, as Tucson is not a celebrity town as it is here (NYC) or in Los Angeles, NG may have been viewed by some as a quasi-celebrity.

They may not have known her elite area very well, but anybody can find an address and phone numbers on the internet.

Yes that’s my understanding. But I don’t recall the friend referred to as a neighbour. If she was, why wouldn’t she have checked on NG herself, rather than calling AG. I’d also assume AB lived closer to NG than the friend did.

I heard friend and I heard neighbor. So I just thought maybe friend and neighbor were the same person? And if it was the neighbor, maybe she called AG because she tried but the door was locked? Thats just a wild guess on my part.

I was just curious about the medication because, like I've recently seen others say, I was thinking along the lines that maybe she was in Mexico because it would be easy for them to get her the meds she needs without detection.

I thought I was just answering a general question about polygraphs given to people who werent in the state at the time. I don't have anyone specific in mind.
