Was it definitely “AFTER it was determined to be a crime scene” that the agent showed up?

Could the APS agent have come to the house on Feb 1 Sunday before the daughter came to the house to check on her mom and discover NG was missing (who then called 911)?

Or, is that not likely.

just thoughts

Michael Ruiz’s post about the business card
Well, the SO's office is saying AFTER so that's all we have to go on. I wish they would clarify when she showed up.

And age-related changes in physical and mental abilities vary a lot. A group of 20 year olds are going to be a whole lot more similar to one another than a group of 80 year olds. That's why it's important not to stereotype.

Absolutely.

I think I posted a million posts ago, that when my parents were Nancy’s age, they went snowmobiling on a glacier in Greenland. Then they went to Antarctica on a cruise.

But four years later, dad had a stroke that affected his mobility and mom began her terrifying descent into dementia, which has her now in memory care/hospice.

So you really cannot presume that everyone at 84 is helpless.

Bryan Kohberger was on the loose for 47 days. Perhaps they do have somebody and they’re trying to build a rock solid case against them.

ok, BUT--if it was Monday morning, they had already determined SUNDAY there was a crime scene and called in homicide. I'll ask again---this person shows up at the door, there is blood on the ground in the doorway, did they call 911? Were they NOT alarmed by the site of the blood in the doorway? It just doesn't make sense.

If the sheriff's office wanted to dispel the sleuths from bringing this up over and over, why not come out and say, yes she was there, she noticed the blood, she called 911. But we are not hearing that. What we are hearing is she showed up AFTER it was determined to be a crime scene. Lastly, why was she allowed to walk up to the door AFTER it was determined to be a crime scene? Why wasn't the scene taped off.

Many on here have opinioned that a defense lawyer would have a field day with the contamination on this case because of how the SO's office handled this scene. THIS APS person who walked up on a crime scene is one of those things a defense lawyer would have a field day with.

I sure hope when this perp is caught---he is convicted and doesn't get off on a technicality like this. That would just break my heart if that happened and it would be such an injustice to NG and her family.
She might have already known that LE were involved but made the visit anyway, so that people couldn’t say APS did nothing when they were contacted (which, from how things go online, would absolutely have happened IMHO), she might have phoned LE on the Monday morning after seeing the blood and was told that they were already aware and investigating, or there might well even have been LE there on the scene when she arrived, who she may have asked if it was alright for her to leave her card in the door.

Day 19 pouring rain. I sure hope something is happening behind the scenes. Not even a vehicle for public to look out for. Tons of cameras on every corner as the perp would have to leave the scene but it seems none of them work???

Edited to add: I'm sure there's others here like me that read on WS during the Laci Peterson case. I thought this was a really good weigh in from someone who dealt with another high profile case.

I would not even begin to speculate on the APS card. A neighbor that concerned would probably know Nancy. I think most that know her would also know her daughter is local and over often. None of this makes any sense and speculation running crazy.

Let’s assume she is alive and local. Why is the perp not panicking about the fbi sniffer? (And thus given himself away)

Do you have a link that the APS staff person was not in communication with LE?

Or that they didn’t inform through channels that they intended to check in?

Or that APS would not be expected make contact, leaving a card if no family was available when they visited, in the event the family needs support?

That it would be unusual that a staff person dedicated to the well-being of seniors is in attendance at a crime against elderly?

That they couldn’t be reached at the phone number on the card to confirm their credentials and be ready to make a statement if called upon?

Imo, the role of APS is not to investigate an active LE response scene but to offer resources as it applies to families with a victimized senior adult.

I have no doubt the APS staff were as shocked and dismayed by blood on the porch the rest of us are.

All imo

Plus a lot of the elderly folk of today were the young and middle-aged people working nights in their younger years, and your body clock just gets used to living your life around later hours, being more productive, focused and energised later in the day and the evening than early in the morning. I worked in pubs and music venues for much of my life from a teenager onwards and my body clock and sleep pattern are still very much “wired” for that kind of schedule years later.

above snipped by me. He might be right here! He is probably compulsively on multiple internet sites watching what leads are coming in. He may be holed up somewhere, sending ransom notes to TMZ. He craves attention and is enjoying the 24/7 news. . NG just might still be alive. He may be sitting with her, his trophy, and feeling like a child with a new toy. He is waiting for SG to address him again in a video. JMO
I hope you’re right that he is following and posting here, because I have a message for him (not you, Napoli). You will be caught you miserable little man loser and SOB.

Poor thing. If he only knew what awaits him after this world. If he did, he'd surrender now.

True, but that wouldn't bode well for NG. A key difference here is a greater sense of urgency because she theoretically could still be alive. So hopefully if they have any indication at all of who did this they'd be busting down doors and leaning on him hard (if they haven't already).

I certainly hope NG is alive, but at what point do you suppose LE will be looking for a body? I suppose assumption of life could go on forever, but it's not reality. SG will need to return to her family.

I'm curious about a personality profile.
What type of person would hurt a sweet 84yo lady?
-Psychopath, has no empathy.
-Hardened criminal who needs money. (Even tho they also have grandmothers and therefore maybe have some sort of feelings when hurting her)
-Drug addict without emotional attachments due to, well, drugs.
-Someone who's really angry with Nancy and wanted revenge. (Hard for me to imagine as Nancy seems such a nice lady)
I mean, there are not many types of people who would even consider something like this. Or am i mistaken?

Why would you kidnap someone and then not provide a clear ransom info? If this was just a stupid person doing it, by this time you’d let her go. Not going to get $$$ now. Too public. Where’s the “and don’t involve the police” note? No…sent to tmz of all places. Have they brought in cadaver dogs?
The ransom info was clear, sent the next day to an entertainment outfit, TMZ, which may be a favorite channel for someone who is a celebrity stalker, and outlined a bitcoin payment and amount. What more would you think should be included? Why should it say "don't involve police" when the kidnapper clearly, imo wants attention? Those Instagram videos, put out by SG were probably a direct response to the ransom note author and were not RANDOM. We have no knowledge of what the ransom notes completely contain. Just snippets and commentary by HL that they were articulate and sophisticated. MOO JMO

No matter how people feel about them politically, I keep thinking about how Nancy Pelosi and Mitch McConnell are both a similar age to NG and there is a WIDE range of physical/mental strengths and weaknesses at that age. My family has had many people live into their late 90's just fine while friends have had people in their family die very frail at 70.

I totally agree with you. There feels a lot of cat and mouse going on in this case, and I think SG's messages were not random but done specifically in response to ransom communications, as well as with advice on how to appeal to the authors of the notes etc.

You can also buy Bluetooth jammers. They’re illegal to use in the US but it’s not like this is a law-abiding citizen to start with!
