Once LE has seized a vehicle, do they keep until all tests are complete and reports done (DNA, etc) or do they have to release before then?

Right? Why remove NG’s body from the home?
In almost all crimes where a perpetrator wants the victim dead, so they can’t talk, or because of a resentment, they don’t take the body! Why take the body this time?
Like you mentioned, maybe started as a kidnapping? She passed quickly, so no sign of life.

I still thinks it’s something simple, like she saw something in a worker’s car, Drugs for instance. The person got paranoid she may mention to cops, needed to be silenced. He got a friend to help, get rid of her ( so sorry, not nice wording)…. They still could have left the body.

Same if it was a worker that had a big resentment, a job didn’t turn out well, NG had him do over, this made him mad, lost money. Smoldering resentment, he got so mad, he finally decided to take it out on NG….He still could have left the body.

I agree, I’m having a hard time figuring out, why take NG’s body? Only the kidnapping reason makes sense for taking NG, but only if they sent a ransom note immediately, with proof of life. Since the first note was after 2 days, plus, No sign of life, the kidnapping idea kind of fizzled out quickly, IMO.

JMO
This is far fetched but if NG was the target and somebody wanted revenge, they could have hired somebody(ies) to take remove her and bring her to the person so they can enjoy her suffering. Idk? It's like a box full of puzzle pieces that don't fit together.

Yes, I am referring to KD, as the post I was replying to alluded to some connection between her and NG. This has never been substantiated AFAIK. The raid involving LD was on the evening of 2/13 and KD was booked on 2/14, unknown when she was actually taken into custody. As I said, interesting, but no connection has been has been confirmed.
KD and LD were arrested together last year. This page takes some time to load and frankly works better on desktop/laptop/tablet than on smaller phones.

“Marana Police Officers observed a vehicle driven by [LD] driving in a manner consistent with drug trafficking. [KD] was a passenger in the car. An officer walked by the vehicle while it was parked in the Walmart parking lot at 7635 N La Cholla in Pima County. He observed drug paraphernalia in plain view in the car. Consequently, the vehicle was searched and officers found a duffel bag on the passenger seat that held a 9mm AR pistol and a loaded magazine. [KD] had a backpack in her possession that contained a for-sale amount of fentanyl pills and 17 suboxone strips. Officers also found the captioned $1,366.00. Both [LD’s] and [KD’s] cell phones were found to contain messages confirming they were actively involved in drug sales”

Too much emphasis on “proof of life “ imo. Perhaps it’s even an ok fashioned concept since there are so few kidnappings for ransom in the last few decades. The perp wanted a trophy, imo. Dead or alive. Moo

The door camera from Nancy Guthrie's porch, and now they are in about 100 different places. All the Tucson papers have put them up, as has TMZ and many others (including local radio, and bigger papers in the Southwest, such as the LA Times).

They have been posted here on this thread many times.
I am so glad to see you on this thread!!

Posting from several hundred pages back (Had to take a break for a few days). I feel like something was majorly fumbled in this investigation. It seems way too slow and messy for something of this scale. MOO

The masked man who is suspected of the abduction of Nancy Guthrie appears to have been at her front door earlier than Feb. 1, the night police believe she was kidnapped, sources familiar with the investigation told ABC News.

The image the FBI released of the suspect at her front door, without a backpack, was captured by her Nest doorbell camera on a day before the suspected abduction, the sources said.

I wish we had relatively current video of LD's general build and gait. Those would be the types of instant qualifiers (or disqualifiers) that pretty much only LE would be privy to at the moment.

JMO.
In 2025 he's listed as 5'8" and 160 pounds

There's a couple of explanations I can think of off the top of my head

1. They had some bit of evidence that pointed them towards the people in those raids that has since then proven to be unreliable or misinterpreted

2. They initially thought she was still alive and were OK with risking the optics of a bunch of fruitless raids but have since come to the conclusion she is deceased so there is less urgency and no need to rush into raids on tenuous leads
How were LD and KD ( second raid, grey RR) affiliated with NG?
One of my theories is a low level drug dealer was at NG’s house (construction or maintenance), and NG saw something she shouldn’t have. Perps wanted to make sure NG couldn’t talk to police, made sure she was gone.
LD was picked up for drugs.

Wait what? That's wild

I’m sorry this is SO ridiculous. I’m sure these women have no proof of anything and are literally just digging around on private property for no reason. This makes me so mad, stuff like this is exactly why LE doesn’t want people randomly searching. MOO

Why doesn't LE stop them?

  • #37,833
Yes.

If LE cannot be sure this isn’t related to SG in any way, they can’t rule out other family members (like her children).

MOO
I can't imagine her being separated from her children all this time yet I get it. SG must be worried for her own safety and that of her family. There is a reason they are not coming forward and we just are not privy to what that is,

I agree with your hypothetical scenarios! 👍

What? LE has already said it's from the same night didn't they? If this is true it might be why LE was asking neighbors for camera video from the whole month of Jan. Since the source is not named tho imma wait until LE confirms to believe it. Thanks for posting!

If that’s true, it’s contrary to Kash Patel’s assertion in his X post, which says “Additional recovered images from the same camera at Nancy Guthrie’s front door the morning of her disappearance, including two videos of the individual.”

That’s from the post containing the picture without the backpack. And if it was captured on a previous day, wouldn’t it have been overwritten? We’d been told that the removal of the camera had allowed these images to be recovered, because there was no new footage overwriting those few minutes.

What a mess.

Mostly likely the night of Jan 11 which is the other date LE were asking for footage between certain times. IMO
