Nice work! So, I may be alone with this, but I am still upholding the possibility that this image may have been AI generated by FBI (perhaps when LE set up the white tent in the entrance of NG’s house ?) to show the suspect without backpack and gun. It shows the suspect’s physical shape. Even the jacket is nicely straightened out, all the way from collar to waist.
If the FBI created the composite, it would also not be “from the same day”. Until they confirm one way or the other I am open to have my thoughts about it.

I have my thoughts on using AI, especially in fooling anyone trying to help. AI on YouTube, for example, is just creating a mess. One never knows what is true and what is not or what is right from wrong anymore due to AI. The public could be a great help if they would have released ALL the pictures and information.

In the case the perp was there before to scope things out, i believe it was earlier that night. It shows him at the front door so he would know there was a light. He likely also saw the camera, but maybe not. In any case there were no surprises to him.

If it is true there was no breaking of doors or windows, as I don’t think they have told us yet, then maybe he was indeed a friend of the family or a day worker who was in her home and stole her key, had one made, then brought hers back. She may have never noticed. Maybe that’s why he was so well covered, because he didn’t want HER to recognize him. Maybe during his crime, she passed away so he had to take her with him. Or maybe she recognized him or his voice. Maybe he he planned to take her. We just don’t know.

Somehow I feel the sheriff got fixated on one person or one theory and that’s why he held things close to his vest and wasn’t sharing with the FBI. I hope that works in Nancy’s favor.

Nancy could use all the help out there. Meaning LE, FBI, Cajun Navy, friends and family, media, and strangers too.

One more comment about the full moon that night. We also had a full moon, no clouds and yet the moon had a haze that made it appear cloudy, likely from what is known about planes spraying chemicals in our skies.

IF the perp even knew it was going to be a full moon, he wasn’t worried. He was prepared and maybe even happy for the illumination of the moon so he could see well in that dark neighborhood. Which makes me think it was a neighbor or “friend”? Or LD?

Of those, 604 victims were between the ages of 70 to 79 and 168 victims were between 80 and 89, the FBI said. Only 27 victims were aged 90 and above. Of the total number of kidnappings, more than 36,000 were taken from a residence, according to FBI figures.

Like most kidnappings, the victims were familiar with their abductors, with most offenders being either a boyfriend or girlfriend. Just over 5,200 kidnappings last year were committed by someone who was a stranger to the victim.

If she has been 'stalked' then in some ways that gives 'law enforcement' more potential evidence. He's been around the house multiple times, he's been in the 'vicinity' multiple times. Increases the chances of it being someone local, I'm not sure he would travel miles and miles to carry out 'surveillance'. Again it shows 'planning', but at the same time, he learnt nothing from the previous visits i.e. door bell camera - twigs etc. It makes him even more 'amateur'.

Also that 'rules' out Cartels. They would just do it.

Thinking back - LE was searching around AG's house very thoroughly earlier in the investigation. They were questioning AG's neighbors too. Perhaps LE believed the perpetrator was stalking NG while she was visiting AG on the evening of 01/31/26. And perhaps the perp had observed NG's movements on 01/11/26 also.

So very well said @Han I'm just sitting here crying my eyes out. For the first time I feel like the family believes that Nancy has passed on and they are now trying to recover her remains. I cannot fathom the nightmare they are living each day, but I hope beyond hope they will be able to find her and are able to put an end to this speculation and wondering. Just so very sad.

LE/DA's will sometimes give deals to those who give it up first, but I don't think it would be the money. Maybe a reduction in sentencing or something, especially if they were not actively a participant in the actual crime.
