I feel so sorry for NG's family. To see the pictures of the kidnapper, and know the terror their Mom probably felt in her own home.

Hopefully, this will get some movement on a rescue/recovery.

So many questions here. Primary to me, are women who live alone in the area unsafe? Is this just the beginning of some strange serial killer who preys on elderly women?

Is Kash Patels’s x post still viewable for those who have x accounts? (I don’t have an x account)

I can no longer see this post. If you see my prior post’s comment about it, it was images of the masked man on the porch, and included the image without the backpack on.

Was it removed for a reason? Because it said it was from the same morning…in error? Jmo
Yes but he commented on his own post from Feb 10th, so you need to expand it or use this link:

So now he is denying this and saying all same day? ABC broke false news? i believe media and not sheriff.

It wasn’t the Sheriff that said same day it was the FBI:

ABC news doesn’t even have a named source or even a clarification that it was or wasn’t the evening before when NG was out late so not home possibly causing the attacker to have to come back later after midnight [technically the next day] assured she was by then home and in bed approached the door fully prepared.

The masked man who is suspected of the abduction of Nancy Guthrie appears to have been at her front door earlier than Feb. 1, the night police believe she was kidnapped, sources familiar with the investigation told ABC News.

The image the FBI released of the suspect at her front door, without a backpack, was captured by her Nest doorbell camera on a day before the suspected abduction, the sources said.

If you look up the owner, you will also find an obituary shedding more light about who is connected to the family. Just saying.
Mods please remove, if we are not supposed to discuss any family relationships of KD.

Thanks,
Nin
A local newspaper in Green Valley (Green Valley News), which is just S of Tucson and close to Sahuarita (KD address/ family business Xcavating) reported that at the SWAT raid from 2/14 ‘Agencies on the scene include the FBI, Sahuarita, Marana, Oro Valley and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, according to reports’

Link to Green Valley News: UPDATED: Investigators search home, make no arrests in Guthrie case

ALL IMO

First time i have seen a picture of LD. Those eyes! Such a good match. Hoping they a good tail on him.
Idk if that's the guy...but I'm looking at his thin lips.

I actually taught for a few years before I joined LE. My school was in a large urban area on the poorest side of town. All the kids were on equal footing economically. You could almost always tell the kids whose parents cared by the way they showed up for school each morning; clean, alert, polite, and homework complete. The other kids were more apt to be tired, sometimes hungry, sometimes angry or disrespectful. Sometimes ashamed.
It wasn’t money that made the difference. It was the care, support, and love of the parent or guardian.
LD's life situation seems quite interesting, and I wonder what sense you make of it.

According to arrest reports, he's involved in drug sales, and serious drugs, too. Drug abuse doesn't discriminate based on income or intelligence, of course. But the sale of drugs is odd to me, considering he appears to come from a well-off family with professionally-qualified parents. I suppose if he's also a drug abuser, sales is one of the few "jobs" that fits in with that lifestyle.

Is he desperate to make it big somehow so he can get his own place, or is he satisfied where he is? Is the family secretly in financial trouble and at risk of losing their nice home?

To me, it's a pretty big leap from selling some smack to abducting a human for ransom unless there's serious financial pressure, but anything's possible.

We still believe in a miracle, we still believe that she can come home - hope against hope," said the presenter.
"We also know that she may be lost, she may already be gone, she may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves."

“Hi there. I’m coming on to say it is day 24 since our mom was taken in the dark of night from her bed and every hour and minute and second and every long night has been agony since then of worrying about her and fearing about her, aching for her and most of all just missing her,” the “Today” show host said in an Instagram video Tuesday.

“We know that millions of you have been praying, so many people have been praying of every fatih and no faith at all. We feel those prayers,” she added
Aww, my heart breaks for SG and family. 💔
So incredibly sad to see the progression of posted videos. The “acceptance” of it all, and her realization that the search is now ( almost certainly) in a recovery phase.
SG’s strong faith shines through it all. 🙏

I know people keep circling around LD even though LE seems to have moved on. But I can't seriously think that the perp who did this lives with his mom.
I can see LD doing it, seems like a rough type. Very sorry about Mom, tried to raise him the right way. Now, she is enabling him.

Thank you for your reply.

That link you provide doesn’t show for me, either. I get the same message that it is age-restricted content, and I must log in to view it.

Since I don’t have an account, I can’t log in.

I guess the settings must’ve been changed so that only those with accounts and over 18 can view the post.

LE/DA's will sometimes give deals to those who give it up first, but I don't think it would be the money. Maybe a reduction in sentencing or something, especially if they were not actively a participant in the actual crime.

JMO
i think if there was a friend of the perp(s) or someone very distantly involved they could strike a deal for immunity for any charges if they gave up location of body and info on perp(s)

I’m sure people who thought they were in a safe area, will be worried until someone is caught!

I think LE still has his on serious radar and has not really moved on. Hopefully just fine tuning their evidence.

Maybe if he had a bitelight pushing out on his lips, they'd look fuller? That being said, I'm not sold the masked man is LD.

Don't like or normally reply to my own post but in looking at KD's address....just stumbled upon that a business is associated with that address:

Day's Excavating Inc

Hmmm. JMO.
I see there's one recent job that may still be active, not far from the company's headquarters.

Thank you for the info re LD.

Remember, a lot of criminals tend to escalate over time, if not caught. And when in jail, meet other local criminals, make plans. A generalization, but very common.
