Is SG's offer of 1 million dollars to bring her mother home completely separate from an arrest and conviction of suspect? Her mother is returned, they are eligible for the reward money? MOO
I think the reward might be available to anyone who comes forth with a viable lead, recovery, return, any clue leading to a solution, so more than one person might be able to claim $. MOO

What I can’t connect is a roofer with bitcoin savvy. At least no roofer I’ve known. (Metaphorically speaking.)

I think people are really overestimating the 'smarts' it takes to use bitcoin.

Hi @PrairieWind nice to see you here. It would be interesting to look at state / county prosecutor professional website photos to see if any are recognized. IMO
I’ve seen a few people say it looks like the DA for Pima county is one of the individuals. Not sure if I’m allowed to post anything more. I personally am awful at facial recognition so can’t tell.

She is not in the house. Do you seriously think no one has checked?
I mean you can't, and I hate to say it, but the smell would have been obvious by the 2nd visit weeks ago. Probably now putting up security systems to preserve the crime scene, little late now.

I wonder if a new team has arrived? Usually they want to see everything first hand.
Or maybe FBI is taking a more active role. Maybe initially they were mainly brought in for their digital forensic capabilities IE the ransom notes, trying to retrieve camera footage etc. Earlier when FBI showed up that first week to the house it appeared at least to me via videos that they were there for specific purposes. Like recovering cameras etc

This definitely looks like they are trying to get a better understanding of the crime scene as a whole. jmo

I'm thinking back to the beginning of this crime. The homicide team was called in. To me, there is evidence we don't know about that leads them to believe something horrific happened in the house.

There’s at least one, if not more, Pima County Sheriff’s vehicles on scene.

That it's somebody connected to Nancy. Either a worker who spent time at the property or a relative of a neighbor/acquaintance. The people who directly knew Nancy may not even have intentionally set her up. I could see a roofer shooting the breeze with friends after work, telling them they were at the house of someone with a famous daughter. It wouldn't take much to get the wheels turning.
rbbm. i thought the exact same thing early on. i was wondering if a worker mentioned something to someone and it lit a match. it would also make it harder for LE to find them. If you eliminate everyone you know who had direct connection with her, it's gonna take time then to go outward from there to anyone they have connections with

Maybe they got a tip and Nancy is being held at one. That would be an awesome dream come true if she is ok!
I always was hoping that but I doubt someone is going to just sit there with an elderly woman and having to help her and listen to her cry only not to give proof of life and get their money.

Hopefully they have received some information.

Bitcoin can be set up online. It is a straight forward process.

What if they covered her with lime?

Unless it was one of those burying inside basement cement walls type of thing, in which case the body can go undiscovered for years---but there wasn't time or the means for that, presumably.
Or a basement at all in her slab home
