I don't understand all the talk today about "authorities preparing to release Nancy's home back to the family".

The crime scene was released by PCSD back on Feb. 2 according to many msm articles. Otherwise there would not have been all the controversy over the Amazon and pizza deliveries, the APS card, and the video of blood drops on the front porch.

Jmo, but I think the crime scene was turned over on Feb 2, - and way too soon. My understanding is that PCSD turned the CS over within a day (some said approx. 20 hours) of when they first arrived at the scene - and before the FBI could get there.

Maybe that was PCSD's right to do, but I don't see the logic in closing the door to possible additional forensics from a federal LE organization that could possibly benefit your investigation. What harm could be done?

Again jmo, but I think that if the FBI had been given a chance to do their forensics - before the scene was contaminated - the investigation might not now be stymied by (reportedly) a mixed DNA sample that is apparently of little use.

Praying for the Guthrie family as they navigate next steps with waiting as they also potentially go back in her home. I remember after my mom passed, I would smell her coat and pillow because I knew that would eventually fade and be gone. Sounds strange but it's natural to want to savor those moments. I'm still holding on to the remote chance that Nancy is alive. But also understand the probability that she's not. My opinion only from life experiences.

Wouldn't the physician who administered her pacemaker be able to monitor it still? My understanding is they have a signal until the physician turns it off, even at or following death.

If that is true, and the physician is still monitoring an active signal, and she is somewhere relatively local, then finding her is reasonable likelihood provided they keep combing the area with the signal sweepers. That is, of course, unless this perp is a pathological ghoul and removed it.

Wouldn't the family know who the physician was that put in her pacemaker. I took my mom at 86 to have her procedure. And my brother took her for the after visit to check on things.

Bittersweet. Going back to the house to see Mom's life as they knew it; to feel close to her, her aromas, reminiscing the earlier years but she is no longer there.

It’s going to be a whiplash of emotions. A new wave of reality of what they were hoping for is no longer possible. I can imagine that many tears will be shed.

The Estate Attorneys would likely be employed handle this. They would handle wills, trusts, taxes, etc as relates to Nancy’s estate and future probate.

This is a way-out idea that occurred to me when I read the sentence I highlighted above.

SG has appeared in the last two videos without her siblings. In her last video she even stated "find a way to get in touch with me" (loosely paraphrased).

Does LE think that NG's captor is possibly so obsessed with SG that he/she might return to the scene of the crime if he/she thinks SG is in or around the property? Thereby setting a trap of sorts?

Again, this is a wild idea on my part and I do admit I watch too many strange series/movies!

I found the interview with Phil particularly enlightening. I, like a lot of people, didn’t think a kidnapper would be at the house for 40 minutes. But Phil said in 1988 he and his parents were held hostage for over 90 minutes and he had spent that time talking and negotiating with the perp. So I’m reconsidering now and I think it’s very possible a chunk of those 40 minutes was Nancy trying to do the same.

I also think I’m back on the train of this being someone obsessed with SG…maybe. It seems like a big coincidence if it isn’t but then again just because you’re well known doesn’t mean things can’t happen to you or your family that have nothing to do with your celebrity. Given the neighborhood though and the fact that an 84 year old woman with mobility issues obviously leads a low risk lifestyle, I’m leaning more towards this having something to do with SG

I’m not sure this means he knows something behind the scenes that isn’t public yet (though it’s possible).

Rather, I’ve seen a lot of religious people speak in this way, asserting that God will be doing something. Kind of like a manifestation or “preach it into existence” type of thing. Having faith that it WILL happen.

Oh...I am just listening to that now and just had a thought.

Someone obsessed with Savannah and spent time in the house looking for things that belonged to her, especially mementos from her career and items of nostalgia.

That brings me to the dark window car that pulled into garage... I think Savannah may have been inside the car and went into the home to look specifically for such items.

Just thoughts...
