Hope this car might be the break through they need

I think it's worth noting that the Fox article mentions this is from Camino Real, which while in neighbourhood, at least to me at a glance, doesn't seem an obvious route for the perp to take

Agreed but time stamps surely are interesting

Yeah, good point.

But I do think he's smarter than we first thought and put a lot of planning into trying to get there covertly and discreetly, otherwise we'd have a lot more solid of a trail connecting him to her house. Seems like they've struggled a lot to piece together his route, and him taking an unexpected one would explain it... definitely seems like he's familiar with the neighborhood or at least scoped it out, all imo

If that vehicle at 2:36 is travelling South on Camino Real, then I could buy it as a way to avoid exiting the area via Campbell.

Would be nice to get an idea which direction the camera is pointing

Not sure the direction NG's house is with respect to this camera... but the first one going << appears to be a Charger with the tail light all the way across the back. The next one going << is a white crossover of some sort. The tail lights going that high remind me of an old Pontiac Aztec. There is one later going >> that appears to be a dark colored Range Rover or similar. A smaller white crossover goes one way then comes back the other way later on. Just my impressions from watching the video a couple times.

@mikerreports

The homeowner says PCSD never canvassed her neighborhood and she was outside the 2-mile radius where Ring subscribers were asked to turn in video from Jan. 1 to Feb. 2. She lives about 2.5 miles away along a backroad connecting the Catalina Foothills to East River Road.

Yeah, this is further away from NG's than I originally thought.
Looking at the map-- Camino Real is east of Campbell.
Not in her immediate neighborhood.
Hoping it is fruitful though.

Does this mean she didn't turn in info until just now? Are you kidding me. I hate the bystander effect

I wanted to look at it on a map. If a person didn't want to be detecting coming and then going on any cameras that might catch him/her, Camino Real seems like a logical choice as an alternate way out of there (there being the subdivision).

I think that’s true but the video was certainly worth looking at so the relevance could be determined.
LE never even bothered to check it out apparently. That is not good.
What else did they not bother with.

This is the route I was imagining IF that 2:36 car is going south. If it's going north though than that vehicle is likely not relevant

Classic…….
“Danielle Stratigouleas said the number of cars passing that night was not unusual, but she and a friend found it "odd" that no one from law enforcement had visited her neighborhood.”

I would say that there could be quite a long list.

LE should have gone on national TV to plead for ring camera footage from the whole damn town! That NEVER happened!!
