I agree. What’s more, this crime was likely done by a psychopath. And psychopaths lie with such ease, they can easily deceive others watching and listening to them.

So LD gains nothing with this interview insisting upon his innocence because, while an innocent person would proclaim his innocence with ease, so would a psychopathic perpetrator.

And to my eye he seems a bit too clammy/anxious/unsure to be a psychopath in a limelight moment. Face is shiny and cutting right through the makeup. I don't know for sure if he is telling the truth, but he'd be more convincing if he was a lying psychopath. And since a psychopath likely committed this crime, I am inclined at the moment to believe him.

This is so incredibly upsetting. How could someone knowing anything about this not crumble and help them. It just blows my mind that someone hasn’t caved and decided to do the right thing.
It is gut wrenching. Maybe someone who's been unsure about reporting watches this, thinks about that $1.1 million in reward money and calls. At the very least I hope it stops a lot of the people publicly pointing the finger at that poor family. Listen to AG on that video and tell me she's still suspect because LE has her car.

I took a photo of this beautiful post at the banner last Tuesday and thought about sharing it here, given all the grimness of this case. Seems like a relevant moment in the conversation.

@OldPueblo

Thank you for going, for showing us the local support, and for sharing with us.

I live on the other side of the country, and I feel you and the other locals are representing us and our fervent wishes for a good outcome.

I know yellow ribbons and flowers won’t bring her home, but I’m sure it is some solace to the family.

Yeah, that was a really weird response. They'd break the door down to get into a room but "there really wasn't anything there." Was there not anything there or was there really not anything there?! WTH.

SWAT broke down her door and she casually thought, yeah this is probably just routine in the search for Nancy? Wow. So strange. I don't know what I'd think if SWAT busted down my door but I wouldn't be able to speculate whatsoever.
LOL

On the other hand, perhaps the person responsible wanted the publicity?
Fair enough but it occurred to me that HE isn't really getting publicity. The investigation is, NG and SG are. There has been some profiling but the discussion has mostly been about the doorbell video and qualify of the investigation. I wonder if he's angry about that. MOO

SWAT breaks down your door

"Hmmm, how odd"

I don't believe he's PG but couldn't clammy skin and other signs be related to drug use and not a conscience? I'm not convinced but I'm not writing off any involvement.

I believe when they arrest the person or persons it will be kept quite until it is over. Will not be a swat vehicle for 100 news ppl to follow like last time.moo

It'd be like if my NYC apartment got raided when Mangioni was on the loose, and I was like, "Ah. Makes sense. C'mon in, folks. I know why you're here." 🤯

@SlimPickens was right. This could be a mistake on their part. Interested to see what real detectives have to say.

I've come to realize this case is far more complex that it originally appeared to be. We saw what appeared to be a novice Perp in his Wmart getup with what appears to be a gun worn in a manner that could have ended the night very differently had he sneezed.

While I certainly hope I'm wrong, given the blood droplets and the amount of them, I sadly speculate that NG was murdered, and died at her home the night she disappeared. While we might not be privy to this information, we aren't aware of any proof of life that was ever given after she disappeared. I speculate that is because NG was no longer amongst the living to do so.

I know very little about SG, her morning show, or her journalistic history. When doing a quick search, I found she has conducted inverviews with some high profile individuals regarding some highly controversial matters. Sadly, I do speculate that whatever happed to NG was in direct retaliation to some perceived grievance against her high profile daughter. That being said, I think there is much more to this than will ever be revealed to the general public. Stating bluntly, I think NG was collateral damage, and the Perps have been tormenting and punishing SG ever since N disappeared. Punishing SG, issuing a terrifying warning?

This is a horrid nightmare that I freely admit goes far beyond my sleuthing skills.
Prayers for all the innocent affected.

Amateur opinion and speculation
I 100% agree with your speculation, and this has been my theory since the beginning. Very terrifying.

Really strange that she wouldn't think any of it has to do with her son. Why would they be there then in her mind? Did she think they were just going door to door with search warrants?
I believe her son, Luke was detained separately at the Culver's Restaurant while he was out picking up food. At the same time, SWAT and the Feds showed up at her house while he was gone.

This appears to be similar to the Carlos situation when SWAT detained him in Rio Rico while he and his wife were out Door Dashing and the Feds raided the mother's home simultaneously. JMO.

And somewhere where he could easily drop her off directly off of a road that he was driving. I'm also thinking east and/or northeast of town since that's convenient and has some fairly isolated places.

If LE had some suspects from Walmart, gun shop and/or other places, that could possibly help them focus on particular areas where the perp might live, if he lives in Tucson.

Since he planned everything fairly meticulously (e.g. doing this crime on the night of a full moon, covering himself so completely as to avoid shedding DNA or recognition), it seems he would have spent a lot of time planning a perfect spot to leave NG. And, the closer to NG's house and to his route to his home, the better.

JMO

Considering he did meticulously plan this out, the one thing I cannot get past is why did he load her with blood dripping? Soon as she was in the vehicle blood is now in the vehicle. If he spent 40+ minutes at the site what was the rush to load someone bleeding?

I empathize with his mom. I have a nephew in a lot of trouble. I'm not saying he's guilty just that he's troubled.
