The fact that he wouldn't say what time they think she was taken without saying it's unknown makes me think she was taken sooner than later as well.Maybe he meant it on a general way about being safe in one's home, going to sleep in one's bed, but it made me wonder if she didn't actually get to go to bed that night.
I think I'm going to hate this story.
Bracing...

They would search as due diligence, imo. But they have since called that off. This is my thought too. I originally thought there must have been blood or obvious signs of a struggle, but then the sheriff said the family searched for her themselves for an hour or so.
Address per @MassGuy further upthread: https://www.redfin.com/AZ/Tucson/5820-N-Camino-Escalante-85718/home/50383723Is it true it's a gated community?
Manned gate?
How would someone drive her out?
Smuggled out in a vehicle that had reason to be there? Delivery vehicle for instance...
Why her?
Someone obsessed with Savannah but couldn't get access to her?
Kidnapping for ransom seems almost hopeful... because at least she's still alive in the scenario... but where's the ransom request?
Botched abduction?

In that case, I'm noting it was her church friends who noticed her missing at church, not a driver who noticed her missing when picked up to go to church (if she does indeed have someone who drives her).Because they're saying she couldn't've left on her own, I doubt she could've driven herself to church.

I feel like they will have a suspect fairly quickly like in the ohio dentist/wife case, but will not report that to public until enough evidence to charge. JmoI do not believe this will wind up being connected to Savannah's profession. I believe this is a homicide though.
Whoever did this appears to have been sloppy, leaving clear signs at the scene that this was foul play.
In a burglary gone wrong that turns into a homicide, it's rare to take the body, unless, the offender has some connection to the victim.
So I'd like to know if there are signs of a burglary in the first place, but either way, I think it's far more probable than not that Nancy had some sort of connection with the person or persons who did this.
That seems to be a well-to-do area, and if the cameras at the home aren't helpful for some reason, hopefully neighbor's cameras are helpful. I don't think this will be an enduring mystery though.
LE have her phone, we do know that. I would imagine the meds she needs within 24 hours to stay alive are NOT missing, hence it being brought up multiple times.I wonder what else from home, if anything else missing (wallet, phone, meds, important papers, etc)…. She also appears to have a pet. Any word on that? If a good area usually, wonder what cameras show? Agree this sounds like someone who knew her, connected to her in some way. How scary and sad![]()
Her children dropped her off at her house Saturday night at 945.Do we know what family she had in the area? Children? Grandchilden?
I do expect this one to move quite a bit faster, just based on the fact that this appears to have been risky, and seemingly sloppy.I feel like they will have a suspect fairly quickly like in the ohio dentist/wife case, but will not report that to public until enough evidence to charge. Jmo
Wonder though i guess i meant to say if any stolen medsLE have her phone, we do know that. I would imagine the meds she needs within 24 hours to stay alive are NOT missing, hence it being brought up multiple times.
And a well known family member so very publicizedI do expect this one to move quite a bit faster, just based on the fact that this appears to have been risky, and seemingly sloppy.
Plus a missing woman with her life in danger expedites subpoenas and warrants.
Yup, that absolutely doesn’t hurt. And a well known family member so very publicized
