Yeah, based on her being missing (I think it's likely she was murdered and body removed), then a connection makes the most sense.

If you don't have a connection of some sort then it's rare to do that.

Gosh, this is so sad. I saw in the presser today police confirmed they have her cell phone. I wonder if her ATM cards were also at home.

I really hope that this is not related to her being Savannah's mother. It would really shake up everyone, I don't want us to become a world that has to protect every personal aspect of our lives because of the crazies. Scary times in so many ways.

That one is such a massive outlier that I don't factor it into my thinking (being relevant here). It did pop into my head though.

A neighbor also reported the front door was left open. Wouldn't the family think that was suspicious?

Did the neighbor mean the front door was left "open" as in unlocked, or left open as in front door was ajar?

If the front door was left physically open/ajar, that sounds super staged to me.

Any time a crime scene strikes me as looking staged, I cross "stranger abduction" right off my list of possibilities.

If I dropped someone off at night that had limited mobility, I would walk them to the door and make sure they got inside. Not sure if that has been mentioned or not, but I can't imagine dropping off someone that has trouble walking 50 feet and just driving away. The house is set back quite a distance from the road too.

It has one of those driveways where you can get to the front door though.

There was an elderly couple in the upstate of SC that was recently murdered in their home and it was the step grandson that did it. No motive has been released. Their bodies were found in the home.

This seems like this is going to be someone known to her and I won't be surprised to hear from the Sheriff at the next presser that she's not with us any longer.

I read earlier that someone saw she was wearing an apple watch in one of the videos. Would her cell phone be connected to the watch? If so the med. indications (heart rate etc) may determine the timing of the attack, as well as anything subsequent.....

I suspect they took her to try to force her to use her bank cards to withdraw funds But if so, they would have no use for her if she failed to comply or after she had complied. Very worried it is already too late to find Nancy alive

This is what first came to mind for me. Unless it is a case of misleading the investigation by creating another narrative to distract from who has taken her, my guess is they either went there with the intention to kidnap her and take her to the bank, or there weren't enough valuables or cash in her home so they forced her get money out.

If a victim is killed in a home, there's almost no reason to remove a body if a perp has no connection to the victim, unless there's a risk of DNA being present due to rape, physical struggle/bleeding, etc.

If she was kidnapped/abducted while still alive, that's another story altogether, of course.

There must have been a ring doorbell cam. and other cameras , not only for security but also in case of a fall or other unfortunate happening like a stove fire, etc.
Living alone at that age with any mobility issues could be risky.
Wondering if LE saw something on camera ?

One of the networks is showing her street and made a good point that the way the homes are set back and mostly screened from the street it may make it difficult for security cameras to pick up the street traffic. Hopefully there is a community entrance that has security cams.
