Hi there - first time posting here. This story really caught my attention, especially since I used to live right across the main street from where Nancy lives. This may have already been mentioned, but while looking at her Facebook profile, I noticed she shared a lot of political posts and I sincerely hope none of that played any role.

I just really don't get the whole taking her from her home thing. If it was a robbery and she interrupted, they could tie her up/restrain her and finish what they came for or take her to try to get her to go to ATMs, or kill her and leave her body there. If it were for ransom I would have expected a ransom demand by now so I am sort of ruling that out for now. If they took her to try to get more money from her via bank or credit cards, why not just let her go somewhere, drop her off on a random street corner?

I am really worried she has met her end and that her body has been hidden God only knows where
The only reason I can think of for moving a body would be shame. A stranger would just get out quickly and leave the body, imo, while a known person might feel shame in addition to hiding a crime.

If she's was taken alive, I don't know what to think.

Could she have walked out for whatever reason after returning home, and had a medical episode?
She has mobility issues and cannot walk far, and they did search for her around the area.

I also thought of a manual or automatic fall notification such a safety call if she has a fall or breathing stopped or was interrupted, or automatic notification if it detects she has fallen. But in this case it doesn't make sense because they would have known immediately if something had happened to her
Sometimes those rely on hitting a button, right? So it could be that she never had the chance to. :( My initial thoughts are not great... I think someone gained access to the home somehow, hit her on the head, head wounds bleed more than most people realize, clean the scene and make it look like she wandered out.

Yes that's true. But a person on a blood thinner or heart medication could potentially survive days, weeks or more without the medication, and only experience worsening condition. An insulin dependent person would likely die within 24 hours not having it, or be completely unconscious and unable to help themselves. I'm thinking in terms of immediate risk with even one missed dose of medication. It would be dangerous and risky to go without these other meds, but insulin can be life or death immediately. I'm sorry if I confused anyone. This is only my own opinion and thinking on why there is such a focus on her medications. And we don't know what her medications are or are for at this time.
that's moreso if you have too much insulin and go low, which is a matter of getting carbs/sugar within like 20ish minutes. too high can eventually cause DKA yes but many people have high glucose for days, weeks, and months that doesn't kill them. diabetes is more of a long-term slow burn that eats away at your body over time. and not to be crude but i don't think she left to go eat at a buffet, so eventually without food your blood sugar will naturally come down a bit on its own. i'd be surprised if it was insulin they are worried about.

i would guess it's probably something to do with the heart. some medications you could survive days or weeks but with some it definitely would be about a day window that you couldn't go without.

Says "all personal belongings, including a 1021 in wallet and vehicle, are still there."

What is a 1021?

Thanks!

It says a 1021 in wallet.

Maybe a driver's license/ID?

The only case I can think of off the top of my head where a person removed a body from the home after murder was the woman in New York who was located in a suitcase. In that case she had been having an affair, ended things, and the ex-lover was the culprit.
JMO but I believe it will be someone similarly close to the victim. Maybe not a lover, but possibly family?

I don't think the public would be informed if there was a ransom request? But like you I don't think this is a factor

my first thought when there is an older victim who has some money is.. someone who was hoping to inherit? that could be a family member but it could also be someone who had gotten close to her. jmo, of course. i do think it will be someone who knew her.
