This is alarming, but why would they send a ransom note to TMZ and not a family member or where SG works?
There's a lot of sick people in this world and I could see them sending a ransom note to TMZ (who they know would publish) just for kicks and giggles.

Writing from 10 pages back, the missing security camera might be the thing that turned the corner--

Family may have thought she would have to be outside somewhere, presumably more family arrived. Once LE arrived, LE may have asked about home security. If this was the moment that the missing camera was discovered, that alone would send alarm bells ringing --

If the perpetrator was familiar, he may have been aware whether she has a paid security service or not.

If it was someone known to her though, why abduct her in the middle of the night? So many easier opportunities...

Removing her from one location to another, that isn't nothing.

In the video, they said it was quite specific. Including what she was wearing and how the house was left. IF it is a hoax, it shouldn't take long to know.

What is the possibility that there WAS a randsom note left or already been sent to LE and they just have not said so to the public? And the perps WANT someone to report on it... TMZ would look like a good plan. IMO

Savannah is extremely famous. Nearly a household name if you're relatively clued into the news. Feel like it has to be someone targeting Nancy to get at Savannah, whether for money or sending a message to her.

The ransom note being real wouldn't surprise me. Maybe family member or associate of someone that worked with Nancy seeing her as a way to make money due to Savannah, and planning this out. Hoping they can get the money fast and maybe flee to Mexico.

Feel like there's no way to get in and out of that neighborhood sight unseen from 1-4am, not that many cars would be out at that time, other cameras must've captured it. I do hope LE has captured it but just chose to omit/not admit it so the perp thinks they're in the clear.

The presser might not have been for the public. It might have been for the perpetrator. Give him a false sense of security, that LE isn't on to him. While guardly encouraging tips.

IMO they know EXACTLY when NG was abducted but they don't need the perpetrator to know they know that.

I thought this was a local crime stoppers type of reward. Not one from the family or say FBI or anything.

on another note just found this from sheriff on Monday about ransom.

I can def see a kidnapper sending their ransom note to a media such as TMZ. There have been ransom letters in the past sent to tv news stations to be alerted, knowing it will be sent to the police/family and also make it a BIG sensation. If this proves to be legit, the person may be on the 'younger mindset' mind. A person involved in social media that sensationalizes events, such as this. I so hope NG is alive and hopefully well as can be. Clearly the kidnappers are idiots and I think young side, just thoughts. IMO
