He said they will continue these conferences until there is a break.
Also I just did the same search myself (didn't screenshot, sorry) and I do not see the searches from 30 Jan. Perhaps that attachment is fake or the data has been corrected.
Same.

both TMZ and DM get negative comments but often they break stories.
absolutely correct and often (not always) with correct information before major news outlets get it

Maybe Chelen County Sheriff Mike Morrison should do the next press conference. :)
I was just thinking about the comparisons and the stark differences in composure. Sheriff Chris Nanos seems completely overwhelmed and not prepared for someone who has been in LE for 50 years.

Inside Edition just reported a trail of blood drops down the driveway.

I've been thinking about the crime window -- 1 to 4 am --

If this was someone familiar, it seems like there would easily be other opportunities to steal her. People she might otherwise open the door for, unaware of their evil intent.

Then it hit me, maybe 1 to 4 am, has nothing to do with NG but everything to do with the perpetrator. Maybe it's the only hours available to them, where their absence might be missed.

JMO
are you thinking someone living with a family/partner/roommates?

i was also thinking, the fact that they chose a saturday night might mean they work during the week. which doesn’t narrow it down that much, but hey, we don’t have much to go on!

Agreed! It was literally four days ago that they broke the news about Catherine O'Hara's death.

IF Nancy is being held for ransom, what good will that do if she cannot survive without her medications? The perps know that by now. The family and authorities know that.
Could they have somehow been able to get medication she needed? Not from her doctor, but someone else?

IMO, you're not wrong. We haven't had anything major happen for a number of years. Local stuff yes but nothing HUGE locally for quite a few years

If the medication is in fact insulin [theoretically], then it would be fairly common and rather easy to come by compared to other medications.

With that much activity in a day?
people could be googling trying to find info on her, like online lookey-loos do. They could be going to this author's site as she will quickly come up in a google search

Things like this typically don't happen here.

so now TWO alleged ransom messages one to TMZ and one to KOLD news

what on earth? IF there are abductors awaiting ransom, they do not seem real bright, JMO
IMO, I think we have a lot of stupid trolls out there more than anything. The stuff I've seen posted on FB reporting about this disappearance reminds me of why I prefer this place over anywhere else.

Im thinking that the ransom note was sent to LE first and then when it didn't get the attention they wanted, they have now forwarded it to news outlets.

Oh, I totally get that. It was the same kind of shocking news we had with the horrible Travis Decker murder of his 3 daughters last year. Nothing like that had ever happen in the small community.

I'm beginning to think there are some out there trying to cash in on a tragedy.
