I just find it odd that someone who would rip a Ring camera off the wall would also be someone who would request 1 million in bitcoin. These two things are at opposite ends of the techie spectrum. Nearly everything about this case is irrational and makes zero sense. I really think whoever did this is crazy and not of sound mind or drug addled but because I think they're crazy and not of sound mind that leaves hope that she is still alive. A normal criminal would've taken her to atm made her withdraw money etc. these are motives that one can understand. I think the ransom if it was even done by the same person is just a ruse not expected to be paid but just another chapter that they think makes sense but to everyone else is insane and just increasing the odds they are captured. I pray whoever has done this is crazy enough to still have her and she is alive. I think he just might be.

I would be incredibly surprised if the ransom has anything at all to do with her abduction or the people who took her.

It's like the Geordie in the Yorkshire Ripper case. An opportunist who likes attention.

Someone out there sees this as an incredible opportunity to profit from a terrible crime, and they're not as clever as they think they are. They're going to go to jail for it.

Yeah I'm believing the ransom being legit less and less. Because why email Tues? Not Sunday? Not Monday? But then she will be harmed in a week? Either it's fake or world's worst random dude. Sadly, it would be the best case scenario here.

Who went to the house after the church person advised that NG was not at church? AG? AG and TC? People have been noting the gap between when family was notified and when the family called LE. I don't know how long they were actually at the house before they called 911. JMO.

So just to add, Savanah was not in AZ when her mom went missing. How long did it take her to get there ? And who was there when the police arrived ? Just Annie and her husband , ? adds another twist !

I guess I’m not understanding the Olympic aspect of it. Usually there are multiple people covering the games, so I’m not sure she would be singled out for that. I believe it’s for a different reason. JMO

I was just brainstorming earlier and mentioned the Olympics angle as something that crossed my mind. I don't think this is related to SG covering the olympic games. However, I am beginning to wonder if this was planned to happen before she left the country. I'm not convinced the ransom angle is legitimate. But if this wasn't random and money was a motive, SG would be the most likely family member to have access to large amounts of money. All just my opinion

I don’t think that’s that long. I’d check first if:
- she’s around, hurt somewhere in or outside
- she went to a neighbour (for help?)
- someone she knows picked het up, for instance to go to a doctor or the hospital (since they would have seen the blood)

That takes a little time. An hour flies by quickly

Could the "ransom note" be a diversion sent by the perpetrator? Making it appear to be a kidnapping for money instead of a homicide. The perpetrator would know what info to include in the note to make it seem real -- details from the crime scene. JMO.

I will caveat what I just said... IF the family did this and IF they also demanded the ransom, then it's probably motivated by anger at Savannah being more wealthy and assuming that she'd pay it. That they could assault, abduct, and probably murder Nancy to achieve that is despicable to contemplate.

Very smart, never open the door to strangers in the evenings. It's well known criminals use a crying woman to make you open the door and then jump on you, rob you, etc. Persons known to you would call you to tell you they are coming over in case of emergency or whatever.
Never open the door at night people!

About a year ago my elderly parents were watching tv, when they saw a torch flickering around outside and catching the window, my mum opened the curtains and a man was stood at the window wearing a high vis cost (that alone could have given her a HA) anyway only the week before we had installed ring doorbells and cameras all around the house and as you can talk through the speaker to outside my dad asked what they were doing, they said they were from the gas board and had badges (means nothing these days) they said a leak had been reported near their home. They asked my dad to go outside but he refused. This was at 11pm… I felt that Ring / video doorbell was crucial and I am so glad my dad didn’t open the door…
