The “Fuller House” star and her husband, designer Mossimo Giannulli, landed at Logan International Airport via private plane Tuesday afternoon, and appeared in good spirits despite facing charges in the nationwide scheme.

Outside her hotel, a “chatty” and “super friendly” Loughlin signed 15 to 20 autographs for fans and posed for photos.

“She came over and she goes, ‘Guys, thanks for being such good fans,'” Beantown resident Robert Schepis said.

“She was about to go in, and my friend was like, ‘Can we get photos with you?’ and she was like, ‘Of course!’” Schepis added.

Schepis said he thanked the actress for coming to Boston, despite her legal troubles. She very calmly replied, “No, it’s OK,” he said.

Lori Loughlin signs autographs ahead of court appearance in admissions scandal

The former "Full House" actress, as well as fellow star Felicity Huffman, are due in a Boston court on Wednesday to face charges in the blockbuster college admissions scandal.

...NBC legal analyst Ari Melber believed the court appearances signaled the group could potentially fight the charges all the way to a trial, given that no type of plea deal has been announced.

"It looks like they're fighting, and they have their reputations on the line, as we know,'' Melber said on TODAY Wednesday. "Obviously there's a lot of bad stuff on the record. Can they argue that maybe they were paying for services or advice they didn't realize just what this advice amounted to?"...

Parents who were summoned to court last Friday pled not guilty. I wouldn't be surprised if Felicity and Lori/Mossimo also plead not guilty.

I totally expect Lori and Mossimo to plead not guilty. And then smile for the camera.

I expect Felicity will plead not guilty and then slip away in a display of humility.

In addition to Lori, Mossimo, and Felicity, 13 other people will be in court on the college-scandal charge today.

"Top New York City lawyer Gordon Caplan is also expected in court Wednesday on the same charges. Caplan, the now-suspended co-chairman of Willkie Farr & Gallagher, allegedly paid $75,000 to Singer to boost his daughter’s ACT score.

Other parents include Beverly Hills-based marketing CEO Jane Buckingham — who wrote a book called “The Modern Girl’s Guide to Sticky Situations” — and frozen food honcho Peter Jan Sartoria.

None of the defendants are expected to enter pleas."

Why aren't pleas expected today?

Federal law enforcement sources tell TMZ, any plea would come with a recommendation by prosecutors that the actresses serve some time behind bars. The official told us, "You can't have people being treated differently because they have money. That's how we got to this place. Every defendant will be treated the same."

Prosecutors will not have the final word if the cases are plea bargained. The U.S. Attorney would make a recommendation to the judge, but the judge has the final word.

Lori and Felicity each face a maximum of 5 years in prison if convicted of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.

Our sources say it is "likely" plea bargain discussions will begin, but we're told no plea deal has been made.

How did anyone know she was at the airport at that time? Is it just me, or does that "fan reception" seem like a PR stunt?

My first guess was that these were memorabilia dealers who are not really fans. They will just sell these autographs. She was famous, now she is infamous. They knew she would have to be flying in today. They just did a stake out at the airport and waited.

Shortly after 11 a.m., Huffman was spotted arriving at the courthouse where a media scrum had gathered. Dressed in slacks and a double-breasted jacket, she was alone except for her lawyers. She said nothing.

They will not enter pleas until they are formally arraigned, which won't occur until they have been indicted by a federal grand jury.

Hours before the hearings were set to begin, two college girls showed up at the courthouse with cutouts of Loughlin face.

They [Huffman, Mossimo, and Loughlin] will not enter pleas until they are formally arraigned, which won't occur until they have been indicted by a federal grand jury.

She's too much. Such arrogance. And of course with her full house cast backing her despite her breaking the law so why wouldn't she be so arrogant.

I don’t know every star in the world ( lol) , but the ones I know have bodyguards.

When a star stays at a hotel, employees sign non disclosure agreements. Often, an employee is not allowed to speak with a atar unless spoken to.

Is she big enough for a body guard? Don’t know,

I find it hard to believe that these fans were not vetted

Lori Loughlin tries to schmooze with prosecutors in court

"Lori Loughlin gave federal prosecutors a close-up in court on Wednesday — shaking hands with each of them before her hearing in the $25 million college-admissions scam.

The fired “Fuller House” actress flashed a 1000-watt smile as she approached the prosecution table around 2:30 p.m."

She's working it. jmo

One of the comedians said they all should of given the $25million directly to Lori Loughlin Elite Smiling College.

She sure is working it, I wonder if she even knows the meaning of humility. I guess she doesn't realize people can see through her acting, on the other hand maybe she's just be being stoic.

Also from the article:....
"Asked how she was holding up, the fired “Full House” and “Fuller House” actress told The Post, “I’m great!”

“How are you?” she added while patting a reporter on the arm."

And this:... I find it hard to believe they'll serve even a day in jail, but I guess we'll see.

"Prosecutors want them to serve time regardless of whether they plead guilty or get convicted at trial, reports said Wednesday.

A law-enforcement official with knowledge of the matter predicted the parents would likely each wind up with sentences of between six and 21 months, CNN reported.

“You can’t have people being treated differently because they have money,” an unidentified fed told TMZ."

Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman arrive in Boston federal court Wednesday

Huffman arrived at the courthouse late Wednesday morning, hours before the hearing was scheduled to begin. Loughlin arrived later to a large crowd of media, police and fans – and someone who yelled “pay for my tuition, Lori!”

Snipped

From the link: Loughlin: "a woman making a play for a return to her role a relatable suburban mom"

Yes, that is exactly what is happening, and I honestly don't think it's going well. She's trying too hard to be the sweet next door neighbor....who just happens to be prettier and who cheats a system that her less-pretty and less-wealthy fans play honestly.

Ugh.

And I think much of this is to restore Olivia's image too - her pretty mom was just doing the best for her daughter, after all, and got caught up in her love and made a mistake. But look at that smile! Those eyes twinkle. It's all okay.

Felicity looks good in comparison. She's got that going for her.

From what we’ve been reading about LL’s recent demeanor I can’t help but think of the mother, Beth, in the movie Ordinary People. Hopefully it’s a mis-characterization.
