So I guess the message to all their Children is you are not good enough to get into these schools, any school you can get into just isn't good enough, look what money and power can buy you etc. etc. Heartbreaking to think they robbed a person of a truly earned spot.

Sadly narcissists raising future narcissists....elite attitude....you are special, we are special & rules, boundaries do not apply to you( us).
The saddest part is the child exists to be a reflection of the Narc parent.

Maybe there's hope for Isabella Gianulli if her mother doesnt keep trotting her out for photo ops, but I think OJ is just ending up as one of those rich Hollywood kids who never have a clue about life

I agree. I doubt she is as happy as she is trying to appear to be. Not sure why she thinks she should look happy, seems like most people would prefer humility.

Mark Riddell, 36, was suspended indefinitely by IMG Academy shortly after the former director of college entrance exam preparation was charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering.

Riddell is a cooperating witness in the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s investigation that has charged 50 people, including actresses, wealthy parents and coaches.

Among those Riddell is alleged to have helped was the daughter of actress Felicity Huffman. Huffman is charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud after allegedly paying $15,000 for Riddell’s services. Huffman was advised that a person known as Cooperating Witness No. 1 controlled a testing center and could arrange for a third part to proctor her daughter’s SAT exam and secretly correct her answers afterwards. The proctor, known as Cooperating Witness No. 2, flew from Tampa to Hollywood to sit in on the test. Huffman’s daughter received a score of 1420, an improvement of 400 points over her PSAT score, taken without Cooperating Witness No. 2. The test administrator was paid $40,000 to administer the test to Huffman’s daughter and Cooperating Witness No. 2 was paid $35,000 for purporting to proctor the exam for Huffman’s daughter, court documents showed.

Riddell is scheduled to make his first appearance in court on April 12 for a waiver of indictment hearing and plea to information hearing before a U.S. District Court Judge in Boston.

Hmm...
The difference between the $40K paid to the test administrator and the $35K paid for the proctor is $15K, which is what Huffman is charged with paying.

Still doesn't add up, though. Were there other students taking the test with Huffman's kid that day so the cost for the admin and proctor was divided between them? IDK

It does say “among those Riddle was alleged to help “,
so I think it must include payment for other cheating students as well. That’s the only thing I can figure.

The scandal’s reveal came nearly two years after Sartorio’s daughter took the June 2017 ACT at the West Hollywood Test Center, scoring 27 out of 36 after some of her exam answers were allegedly corrected. The purportedly fake ACT score placed Sartorio’s daughter in the 86th percentile among takers of the standardized test. In comparison, she scored 900 and 960 in two times taking the PSAT, landing her in the 42nd and 51st percentile, respectively, among takers of that exam.

Sartorio is former owner of Elena’s Food Specialties and president of Nate’s and P.J.’s Organics. He co-founded the latter company, which produces packaged burritos sold in South San Francisco through ADF Foods.

The identity of the student and her parents has yet to be revealed, and they are not currently facing any charges in the Operation Varsity Blues Scandal.

So, did I read the first four paragraphs correctly? A cheater parent was cheated by a cheater who cheats? The cheater parent didn’t really receive any benefit for his $500,000 bribe since his daughter gained admission on her own (but did lie by stating that she was into sailing on her application, when she actually wasn’t). Haha.

"The contribution was made several months after the student was admitted to Stanford. The student had no recommendation from the former sailing coach, or any other coach, and has not at any time had an affiliation with the Stanford sailing program or any other Stanford athletic team," Stanford said.

Stanford said KWF contributed a total of $770,000 to the sailing program in the form of three separate gifts. Given that the two students who did not enroll were associated with gifts of $110,000 and $160,000 to the sailing program, the third student was therefore associated with a gift of $500,000.

Stanford is the second school to expel a student as part of the fallout of the college admissions scam. Yale University kicked out a student two weeks ago whose family paid $1.2 million to get her admitted as a fake soccer player.
