I do wonder what will happen to Felicity’s career she is a very good actress it will be a shame if her career is finished because of her unlawful extremely poor judgment.

If she plays it well, I suspect her career will be fine. She did do the right thing from the beginning, pleading guilty and taking responsibility (for what that’s worth). 11 days in “prison” allowed her to barely unpack but the sentence length was given by the judge, after all.

ITA - FH has handled this pretty well by keeping quiet even though this had to be embarrassing & humiliating for her & her family.
I mentioned upthread that I don’t care to see FH on any talk shows (which really doesn’t seem to be her style). As I am thinking about it more, I would rather see her over LL any day. LL has really disgusted me throughout this whole fiasco.
Wonder what’s coming next lol! MOO

Felicity will probably get roles again after a period of time has passed. I think Lori’s career is finished though I can’t see her getting roles again.

Yeah, well, that's because Lori is a D-rated actress, surviving on the cult of personality/appearing like the wholesome girl next door, which is what happens when you're a blandly pretty woman with merely competent acting skills. You just simply cannot compare CV's between the two:

Lori Loughlin - Awards - IMDb

Consequently Felicity is no glamour girl, but come on:

Felicity Huffman - Awards - IMDb

Who would you rather have in your project? Who do you think would bring you more respect? You can replace LL with approximately a thousand other actresses. People aren't hiring FH for her looks. They are hiring LL for her attractive appearance and her wholesome reputation, the latter of which has had a pitchfork thrust through it as of late, let's not kid ourselves (like LL does).

Felicity Huffman’s future after prison is uncertain — but much brighter than Lori Loughlin’s and most other inmates

Even with her 11-day prison stay, Felicity Huffman otherwise did “everything right” from a PR perspective to salvage her career and reputation, experts say

After prison, Felicity Huffman faces uncertain future

I'd watch... one interview, I suppose. Only because I would be curious to hear her answer for "what would you say you've learned from all this?", and gauge it for sincerity.

UES dad ensnared in college-admissions scam breaks silence to Post

https://nypost.com/2019/10/27/ues-dad-ensnared-in-college-admissions-scam-breaks-silence-to-post/

An Upper East Side dad has become the first parent involved in the college-admissions scandal to break his silence — griping to The Post that he should never have been sentenced to even a month behind bars.

“Why are these people out for blood?” Manhattan businessman Greg Abbott asked of critics of himself and the slew of other deep-pocketed parents who shelled out thousands of dollars in bribes to try to get their already privileged kids into top universities.

“There are no victims,’’ he insisted of the crime, which involves charges including fraud.

~~

He also had harsh words for Devin Sloane, an LA businessman who pleaded guilty to working with Singer to lie that Sloane’s son was a water-polo star to get him into the University of Southern California.

Sloane’s punishment should be to “wear a Speedo wherever he goes for four months instead of going to jail for four months. When he goes to Beverley Hills or Rodeo Drive, he has to wear Speedo.” Abbott said, referring to the swimwear.

Abbott said that after he serves his four weeks behind bars — in a prison yet to be determined — he plans to take a vacation.

“I’m going to Disneyland,” he said.

I hope prison is a good teacher for him. I bet he will be a fast learner. Cleaning toilets will be a good prison job

"There are no victims,’’ he insisted of the crime, which involves charges including fraud."

The entitlement mentality continues. Criminal thinking, everyone else is to blame but him. A month of prison time will not re-wire a lifelong mentality of entitlement.

Truly. Maybe at least a year would be more fitting.

Truly. Maybe at least a year would be more fitting.

It would just continue the epic sob story of the unfairness of it all. After all, this was a completely "victimless crime" according to the perpetrator.

There are people in prison who weave incredible stories about how they ended up in prison, byzantine interpretation of reality. Some never ever accept their own actions are the problem. The bigger the ego, the longer the story.

The saddest part of this whole mess is that their children felt like they were not "good" enough to please their parents, or be accepted, unless they went to a fancy college. And their parents insecurities are blatant, that they "needed" to be able to say to others, "My daughter is attending USC". Twisted values.

The damage that these parents have done to their own children, they are victims. Even if they knowingly participated in the fraud, they did so, realizing that they were not going to be able to achieve what their parents wanted on their own merit.

It is family dysfunction on nuclear steroids.
