Obviously he had a desire to live a peaceful life, since he's done that for decades now. Take the peaceful life away.

I wonder if people would be so quick to excuse it if DNA solved a decades-old unsolved case where the murderer was still alive.

I have said it before and I will say it again:

My cousin was brutally raped, murdered and dumped in a canyon in 1977.
It completely ruined her wonderful parents, they have never been the same.
I don't care if the guy is 94 when they catch him, I want him to fry. :twocents:
