The guy being interviewed at the beginning says "She said that she has no will, uh something like that, that she's been hurt because they took her 2 kids. and that she can't let them get her boy."

Is he referring to her referring to her 5yo or her 3yo? Did she take off with the 3yo, since the 5yo appears to ahve been missing since October?

This case is so confusing!

So, she never reported him missing. Who did? Which other 2 kids? The 3 y/o and ?? And the boy is the missing child? And who is "they?" Dept. of Human Services? This is very confusing.

According to the video at this link, LE was originally called out to the home in Woodland Park last week to help in the investigation into the disappearance of J with NC detectives.

Just read that article on KKTV and I'm confused too. At first, after reading the stament that was made by Moses in the home I wondered if by not wanting "them" to get her "boy" she meant not letting the authorities get her boyfriend. But then again, it doesn't mention anywhere in any of the articles I've read that her other son is missing or in state custody. Anyone know if her current boyfriend is the father of her younger boy? Also, I find it interesting that others in the home that was vacated are saying that they just met Vania. Who moves in with someone they just met when kids are in the mix. I just don't get people and their reasoning (or lack thereof) these days!

Okay, if NC authorities were investigating J's disappearance last week, why is there no release of any information regarding his disappearance even now, no listing on NCMEC? Is it because his mother did not report him missing?

Good questions! And why were all of the children taken into custody and sent back to NC, if they all had just met Vania? Do they all have connections to NC?

Holly, my guess is as good as yours. As far as the other kids in the home being taken in to custody, maybe there were some illegall activities in the home? I can't imagine the authorities taking away all of the kids just for association with Vania. It said in the article, if I'm not mistaken, that none of the parents were taken in to custody though. Couldn't be some sort of child ring, because surely that would be ALL over the news given the number of children and adults. I just hope that little J is ok, and that Vania's other boy is safe as well.

That's a terribly scary thought! It's just bizarre that they would ship them all to NC, especially if none of the adults were arrested. :waitasec:

This case is REALLY confusing!
However I live in the town next to Waterloo Iowa and sent links to the news stories to our local paper and news station. Maybe they will get the info out here locally.

I'm thinking the adult male in one of the pictures is baby P's dad, and that she was/is married to him and that's where she got the last name Sisk. Don't know if they're still together or if she's dating someone else, but the quotes from other people in the house referred to her "boyfriend".

Authorities didn't find Sisk’s child, but took nine children, also from the Durham area, into protective custody.

This is crazy...why are all these children from NC taken into custody? What were all these people doing in that house? It sounds VERY suspicious to me, and I cant wait to hear the details...like do ANY of those children belong to those adults?

Uh oh.

This case was confusing from day one. And now I'm even more confused. WTH is going on??? Where is this little guy? When was he last seen? And where??? We don't even know 100% what his name is, or how old he is. This can't be good.
