Scary!

'I will never open that door again': Man poses as sanitation worker in armed home invasion
A man targeted two women with disabilities in a terrifying home invasion in Charlotte.

The victim said she and her 81-year-old mother were home at the time. She claimed the man posed as a garbage worker as a way to get inside the house.
“He says, ‘I’m robbing you’, he was like, ‘I just want the pills, I just came for one thing’, he says, ‘Give me your prescription pills and I’ll be on my way’,” Jackson told NBC Charlotte.
Fortunately, neither of the victims were hurt. Police said the suspect got away with Oxycodone pills and more than $1,000 cash. So far, no arrests have been made.

I am happy that I am a hermit and never open the door except to family and friends.

There are times I've had to open the door to people I don't know, e.g., for telephone and Internet service, maintenance (I rent), change of furnace filter, fire inspection, etc. If I'm expecting someone to deliver a service, they're wearing a uniform and announce themselves as such, I assume they're who they say they are.
