Amber Alert issued for missing 8-year-old NC girl

An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 8-year-old girl out of Buncombe County.
Around 9 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to a home on Asbury Acres in Candler, North Carolina in reference to a domestic situation.

An Amber Alert has been issued for an 8-year-old Buncombe County girl. The man they believe she is with does have a criminal record and, authorities say, he could be armed.

Buncombe County authorities say they received a call Tuesday night just before 9 p.m. about a domestic incident in Candler. The caller told police her ex-husband assaulted her, stole her vehicle and took their child, 8-year-old Bailey Queen .

Deputies say they are looking for a 2003 Gold Toyota Corolla, with the license plate: YPX7062.
