So they’ve never recovered his body? Why was it so important not to give up the actual location of his body if they were already looking at 1st degree murder? Why were they driving around all day from location to location? I just don’t understand.

From what I understood early on reading it wasn’t that they weren’t willing to give up the location. He was beaten at one location and the body was moved and they couldn’t recall exactly where they left him.
