Sadly there is something new to report, she is off of the missing persons list in Charlotte officially. She ingested a number of Xanax on Monday evening....and fortunately had second thoughts after doing so and posted a request for help on social media. A fiend saw the post and immediately called me. The ambulance fortunately got to her quickly. We believe she has been released from the hospital now. We assume she is back with the same guy now.

Mark, if she has attempted to harm herself can you have her involuntarily committed? She seems to meet the criteria if she intends to harm herself. You may be able to get guardianship in court too.

I am so glad that she recovered from this incident. I hope that she is able to get the help she needs and is successful in getting back to a healthy life. Were you able to see her while she was hospitalized?
The rent will be due soon on their apartment. If the guy she is staying with still does not have a job I wonder if they will be evicted soon? I am truly sorry your family has to endure this... but sounds to me like you will never give up on your beautiful daughter and I applaud you and your strength. Blessings!

I would see if you could get her help legally. I am just so sorry that you are going through this. I can't imagine how worried and scared you and your wife are. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
