Missing: 46-year-old last seen in Winston-Salem a week ago

Police in Winston-Salem are trying to find 46-year-old Chantel Jones, who they say was last seen nearly a week ago.

Jones has cognitive disorders, and the N.C. Center for Missing persons has issued a Silver Alert in response to her disappearance.

Jones, a black woman, was last seen April 2 at the 1499 New Walkertown Road Food Lion in Winston-Salem.

She is believed to be wearing a red and white Winston-Salem State University hat, a yellow top and blue jeans.

She could be driving a white 2016 Hyundai Accent with damage to the rear. The license tag on the car is EAC-9162.
