So estimated death 1977 - 1985 ... that leaves a lot of MPs.

But at a quick glance, a few that seem possibilities :

Steve Lewis Arrowood (19yo) went missing from Gastonia, 20mi away in 1975, so 2 years outside the Estimated Year of Death range. The Doe Network file makes it sound as though a long distance trucker could have been a suspect - although we don't have exact coords, I'm guessing these remains were found somewhere near I-85 I guess www.doenetwork.org/cases/3832dmnc.html

Jimmy Wayne Edwards (22yo) disappeared in 1978 www.doenetwork.org/cases/4387dmnc.html and possibly linked to a biker gang. He went missing from 45mi away, along I-85.

David Leonard McMiken (24yo) missing December 1982 with 2 other men Michael Fay Norman and William Earl Clifton and neither they, nor Clifton's vehicle, have been found.
