Silver Alert issued for missing 20-year-old North Carolina woman

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for 20-year-old Chelsea Marie Lang who is believed to be suffering from cognitive impairment.

• Chelsea was last seen wearing a camouflage hoodie, a long sleeve pullover, and brown pants in the area of 259 Stewart Road in Winston-Salem.
  
• She is 5'11" tall, approx 200 lbs with long brown hair and blue eyes.
  
• Anyone with information should call the Winston-Salem Police Dept at 336-773-7700.

Lang was last seen at her residence on Steward Road at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday getting into an unknown vehicle. She could possibly be in Eden.

Is she 5'11" or 5'2"? The articles don't agree on that. A woman who is 5'11" would stand out in a crowd that would help identify her if someone saw her.

It appears that back in 2018 Chelsea had gone missing and had a Silver Alert for 2 or 3 days before being found safe. There were multiple MSM stories which you can find if you Google.

(Not posting links here in case anyone scans this thread for links and confuses the 2018 headline with the current ongoing search for Chelsea. *Mods, if I should post the link, or if any of this info is unhelpful feel free to remove or edit my post.*)

To me, this seems like a hopeful sign that her family and community are very proactive about issuing Silver Alerts when needed, and that last time she was missing the Silver Alert worked. (In 2018, she was also living in Winston-Salem according to the articles).

But also wanted to give anyone a heads up who's following the case to be aware when reading articles to check if it is the 2020 or 2018 Silver Alert you are looking at.

I can tell from her photo that the 5'2" height is almost definitely the correct one. She should really have a tracker on her at this point. Two happy resolutions is already pressing their luck pretty hard.
