Family thinks Missing mom and daughter are Florida bound

LEE COUNTY, Fla. - Police are looking for a mother and daughter and believe they may be headed to Southwest Florida. Authorities say that Christina Garcia, 34, and her 6-year-old daughter left their home in Greensboro, NC after Garcia had a domestic disagreement with a family member. Garcia reportedly has a history of mental illness and has had issues with not being able to appropriately provide and care for her daughter. In the past Garcia has relied on strangers to help her in taking care of her daughter. Family members think Garcia is headed to South Florida with her young daughter and they may be staying in homeless shelters or camps.
