Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a 59-year-old woman.

CMPD says the incident was reported in the 7500 block of Timber Commons Lane. The call came in a little before 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 30. Family members of Cynthia Lattimore say she was last seen at her residence Tuesday morning.

Officials say Lattimore has not returned home and there is some concern for her safety since she has not taken her medication for several days.

[h=1]Body Found In Rowan County Possibly Linked To Missing Person Case[/h]

SALISBURY, NC — Deputies are investigating after a body was found in a wooded area Wednesday afternoon.

A cadaver dog found the body behind the old Magic Mart building on Jake Alexander Boulevard. Investigators say they were following up on information received about a missing person case back in May.
