Presumed Located NC- Darlene Wilson, 55, Franklin County, 17 May 2019

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is working with authorities in several counties attempting to locate a missing 55 year-old woman. (One report has the victim’s age as 57)

Darlene Wilson was last seen Friday, May 17th in the area of Hardee’s in Franklinton. She may be headed to Wayne, Sampson, Duplin or New Hanover County.

Wilson is described as a black female, 5 foot 6, 160 pounds, with gray short hair styled as a Mohawk. She was last seen wearing a green striped shirt, baggy blue jeans, green and black tennis shoes, and carrying a green bag. Authorities do not have a vehicle description.

A Silver Alert has been issued. If you have any information on the whereabouts of Darlene Wilson contact the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office at 919-496-2511 or Detective D. Woody at 919-496-2186.

She was missing five years ago, also in May. At that time, she was reportedly 5 feet 3 inches tall...
