Found Deceased NC - David Kuklentz, 54, didn't return home to Charlotte from Glendale Springs, Ashe County, car found in the parking lot, 15 Jun 2024

While we do not suspect foul play, there is a missing person, and we have so many questions and very few answers. So, we are not ruling out anything and need help from the public.

I hope it's not foul play, but it certainly seems like David is not lost in the woods while on a hike or something. The surrounding area was searched where his car was found. Dogs would have picked up his scent.

This does not bode well for an accident, but more for a willing disappearence. Condolences to his family.

The update in the first post here says “UPDATE: June 21, 2024; at 2:45 pm: The missing individual has been located. Our deepest condolences go out to the family.”

So, apparently he was located deceased, since they gave condolences. :(
Correct. I found the wording of the announcement odd; usually, the headline would say “body of missing man found” or “missing man found deceased.” IMO

It seems there may have been cause for concern from the beginning, JMO. LE didn't give the usual MP details at the outset and was incredibly tactful in their announcement of his death.
