NC NC - Debra Asbury, 26, Lexington, 26 Sept 1994

I was browsing Namus and the LSUFaces Lab webpage and came across this unidentified person and think she may be a match to Debra Jean Asbury.

She was found in December 1994 in Tullulah, LA (off I-20). The height and age are a little off, but the dates line up. There are also similarities in the facial structure.

Here's the current rule outs. It includes the Onslow Co. UID suggested earlier by @Skigirl. The other case from Talulah, LA is not on it. However that case is no longer in NamUs but still is up in FACES. Maybe she was identified?

Based on map quest From there house 400 west side drive to the corner store at west 5th avenue it is a 7min walk. It was reported that it was about a 10 minute walk . She disappeared in that amount of time that’s if she even left the house.

I think she was killed by her husband or boyfriend... maybe they even agreed to do it... after all, no one was even suspicious and they live their lives as if nothing happened... probably even a hitman was involved in this case... young woman with small babies to take care of and those dirty pair of scum finished her off... babies without mothers... I hope one day this case is solved...

<<Courtney Patterson, Debra’s daughter who was two years old at the time, says the pain of not knowing where her mother went is still just as fresh as the first day she found out. Patterson says that’s never stopped her from looking for answers.

“According to my aunt who was living in the house, she had come back home, and she changed her clothes, and she told my aunt that she was leaving. When my aunt woke up several hours later, my mom was gone, but all of her belongings were left on the counter,” Patterson said.

She didn’t find out her mother was a missing person until she turned 15.>>
