Circumstances of Disappearance: Debbie lived with boyfriend across from where she worked (Sea Ranch II) and left work at 10pm on 02/08/1992, and was not heard from or seen again. She walked home to and from work. Her purse was found by an unknown truck driver who found the purse beside the road in front of the marina and her mother was called by the man who did not give his name. The boyfriend stated to the family that they had an argument and Debra left. After months of contacting the boyfriend and still not hearing from or seeing Debbie a police report was filed on June 24th, 1992.

Accessories: Debra's purse was recovered at an outer banks marina by an unknown truck driver who then allegedly turned over to her roommate/boyfriend at the motel where she worked and lived a few days after her disappearance. It was returned to her mother by her boyfriend/roommate.
Clothing: In 2013, Debra's mother said she did not know what Debra was wearing when she went missing, however, Debra always wore 'Lee' jeans and a denim jacket or possibly a black leather jacket. Due to the time of year of Debra's disappearance, she most likely would have been wearing the jacket/coat. She further stated that she liked to wear t-shirts with her jeans.
Eyewear: Debra did not wear glasses.
Footwear: Debra's mother said she often wore 'sneakers', an inexpensive kind, and not a particular brand.
Jewelry: Debra's mother said she did not wear a lot of jewelry, but did have pierced ears. She said she often wore black onyx stud earrings that her mother gave her.
