Thanks, JeannieC, for the update on this child, yet another Little Angel who has gone up.... We need not forget about him.

I wonder if she is/was under a protective order from someone who was abusing or harassing or stalking her??? At least in jail, she'll be somewhat safe.

Such a purely beautiful little boy who will be safe and loved by all...

I don't think so. Since she is the mother maybe they were giving her and the family time for the funeral and maybe they weren't sure she was involved and now they know. jmo

So, so sad. Mommy should protect not turn a blind eye to abuse. It really breaks my heart.

A Charlotte man will spend 13 years in prison after admitting to killing his girlfriend's 2-year-old son.

James Cleveland pleaded guilty Thursday to second-degree murder in the death of Demytre Pendleton in September 2011.
