One child has been found and another is still missing aftter an Amber Alert has been issued in our state.

Investigators are still looking for 3-year-old Dior Muhammad who is approximately three feet tall and weighs 32 lbs.

She has black hair and brown eyes and is wearing black pants and a gray shirt.



Officials are looking for two alleged abductors, 35-year-old Edward Garner Sr. and 18-year-old Edward Garner Jr.

Authorities say Garner Jr. was in the car with his father, but they aren't sure what his role might be in the alleged abduction.

Officials don't know where they may be heading, but were last seen on Perugia Way in Charlotte. They might be traveling in a white 2000 Mercedes-Benz S430 with NC plates HCV-1629.

The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department says Dior Muhammad, 3, was located hours after Aziyah Garner, one, was also recovered. No further details were provided.

Garner was located and arrested by CMPD officers and K-9 unit on Sept. 6 without incident. He was interviewed by Homicide Unit detectives and has since been transferred to the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office where he has been charged with murder and murder of an unborn child.

Officers said both the 1-year-old and 3-year-old were located on Aug. 13. Muhammad was found with a relative on Trade Street and Aziyah Sana’a Garner was found with a relative on Pineburr Road, police say.
