Recovered/Located NC - Douglas Eugene Shockley, 48, Wayne County, 9 October 2018

48-year-old Douglas Eugene Shockley was reported missing by his wife on Friday. He last seen by his wife on October 9th, and Shockley last spoke to a family member from the Kinston area on October 11th. Shockley reported to the family member that he had lost his cellular phone and was calling from an Auto Zone in Kinston. Douglas Eugene Shockley is a 6’5” black male weighing approximately 260 lbs. He has a shaved head and has a goatee. Shockley is operating a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe that is Blue in color displaying registration CBX-8665.

This area was hard hit by Hurricane Michael, I think New Bern and Kinston especially.

So it appears he is a well liked barber in the area. His vehicle is older... wonder if he was at Auto Zone because he was having problems with it and something happened on the way home?
The barbershop is in Goldsboro, which is approx. 30 min drive from Kinston.
