Details of Disappearance: Dylan has not been seen since he left his house in Cedar Grove on Jan 27th, 2018. Dylan’s driver license, journal, backpack, sleeping bag, hiking boots, and a heavy wool coat were found in a tent 50 feet in front of his parked truck which was at Gap Rock parking lot for the Appalachian Trail off National Forrest Road in Franklin, NC on Feb 14, 2018.

He's from Cedar Grove, which is near Hillsborough and Durham, about 4-5 hours to the east of Franklin. That seems to be why Orange Co. is the case contact.

Since he was 34, no one bothered to help search for him.
I hope someday before my death, his remains will be found somewhere near the Appalachian Trail off National Forest Road in Franklin, NC, at ROCK GAP.

He didn't tell anyone where he was headed.

How did you know he was last seen by his roommate? That was not public knowledge. Also it’s now as of today it’s been eight years since his disappearance. We believe Dylan was buried on a friend of the roommates property.
