The autopsy for a 3-year-old girl whose stepfather is charged with murder indicates that the child probably drowned in her bathtub and could have been held underwater.

An autopsy report said Reyes-Cortez reported that he put the girl in the tub after she threw up. He said he left and returned to find her unresponsive.

"Recent bruises were noted of the forehead, bridge of nose, back of neck and sacral (tail bone) region,'' the examiner wrote. "Some other minor bruises of the extremities were present.''

Reyes-Cortez is charged with felony child abuse and first-degree murder and was being held without bond.

If a parent or step-parent cannot handle the responsibility of being a nurturing & loving caregiver, why can't they just walk away & let someone else take care of the child? Why do they have to murder them? :furious: There are so many ways & techniques to learn to control anger. Children DO NOT deserve this!
