Eric Montreal Evans, 22, has not contacted his family since July 27. He was last seen on Hedge Drive in Lumberton at 4:39 p.m. he was reported missing after missing his birthday party.

Evans has brown eyes, stands six feet, one inch tall, weighs 170 pounds and has shoulder-length dreadlocks with a grey spot. He usually wears gold teeth and two gold chains.

Officers with the Lumberton Police Department found the decomposed body of a man in Lumberton on Tuesday evening.

The body is not believed to be that of Eric Evans, who was reported missing more than a week ago, according to the release.

Eric Montreal Evans, 22, was last seen in the area of Hedge Drive at about 6:10 p.m. on July 20 at 210 Holly St., according to police Capt. Terry Parker. He was reported missing on July 30.

Evans is a black male, about 6-feet, 1-inch tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He has shoulder-length dreadlocks that are black in color with a gray spot in the middle front. He normally wears two gold chains and has gold teeth.

Again another missing person in Robeson County this year alone. LE and media coverage are ridiculous in the area. Community involvement is zilch.

Seems like more than three are missing. Mountaire Farms offered $5000 rewards for three missing people, Eric Evans, Cynthia Jacobs, and Abby Patterson, in October 2017. NC farm offers rewards for information on 3 missing persons cases
