I'm at an absolute loss as to why the adoptive parents haven't been jailed yet. :(

Im surprised they haven't arrested them for fraud. Murder would be too iffy to charge unless they have forensic evidence like Erica's blood on that hammer etc.All it takes is one A-hole attorney like JB and one weak minded juror like the P12 and they would walk free. I wouldn't be surprised if they arent arrested by the end of the year on the fraud. Hopefully they have gleaned some forensics from their collections or some computer forensics to build a case.

I can only hope they think not arresting them will keep the fantastical tales coming and that's all LE has right now is their words. My two cents.

And even drove an SUV...I don't think I've EVER seen an elderly woman drive an SUV. Not saying it doesn't happen, but I've just never seen it. They are hard for the elderly to get into.

JMO, my Mom drives an SUV and is 78. Not that I believe any of this story. Where is Erica? :(

Well, here's the thing. To flesh out the details regarding the fraud, they can ask all sorts of questions regarding the whereabouts of the child. The fraud is tied into her not being at home anymore, so all of that would be relevant, I think. A grand jury investigation can be pretty broad.

funny... I've never once heard the term "flesh out" until CP said it in re: erica...

It's a common expression. Are you trying to imply something?

flush out (as in game or getting at something hidden) is common where I am from.

Flesh out not so much, but I have heard them used interchangeably.

People sometimes use them interchangeably, but they aren't really. Flush out means more like to force someone or something out of hiding. Flesh out means to clarify, add details, or add meaning to.

Yes, and you used "flesh out" correctly, in your post above -- but I think CP used "flesh out" when she was intending the meaning of "flush out", and some thought it sounded kind of creepy in that context. I think it was something about trying to "flesh out" Erica.

Oh, I can see how that would sound creepy, but it was probably just ignorance. People misuse idioms and such all the time. It's a pet peeve of mine lol.

Mine too. My long-time boss always said "mute" when he meant "moot." Grrr.

FWIW I have heard both 'flesh out' and 'flush out' terms here on the west coast. They have also been used interchangeably, so I usually have to ask the person which way it's meant .
That would drive me nuts too re: mute for moot!

Angela Laubscher, Erica's adoptive great aunt said hearing new details from Department of Social Services workers about what went on inside the Parsons Salisbury home is difficult.
"We all loved Casey and we just never knew things that was happening, and so all of this is new for us too," she said.

"Each day I'm learning things that I didn't know" said Casey's sister, Tammy Gray, who didn't want to specify what new information is coming to light. "I really don't want to say. It would be revealing testimony that's going on."
