Maybe it was a fluke, dunno. That website seems all sorts of poorly designed based on the fact that half the results I get when I search for it are inaccessible post-login user-specific pages. It set off a mild hinky meter but I'm 99.9% sure it's nothing. If anyone were doing anything illicit on such a public page I'm sure there would be no following of any sort.

The twitter following all those identically named Goodmans was still pretty creepy, though. Maybe it's some weird SEO bot that does it automatically based on popular search term combinations, but I have no idea what that accomplishes. Another website I comment on frequently had a mass freakout while the Boston bombers were being sought after it was determined that someone had posted a link to a review site dedicated to the exact brand of pressure cooker used in the bombing, the DAY before it happened. The username seemed randomly generated but everyone sleuthed the hell out of it, finding some kind of connection to anarchist death metal bands in Germany. Turns out it was a spam bot. The moral of the story is: the internet is weird, but CP is weirder.

BBM

AMEN!

I didn't really get a "hinky" feeling on that website, but it definitely had an amateurish feel to it. One of the categories was "women 2.5" (or something like that). What does that even mean???

That would be Reddit I suspect re: Boston?
Yeah, SEO tricks can skew a TON of information. Bots, too.
I had to love one of the postings from CP about selling 2 CKC Doxie pups... that she claims she did not breed; but bought for her kids. UhHuh. Right.

In nc for voters who change their address before the election but whose Id was not verified at the time of the change there is a preprinted notation on their authorization to vote that requires the poll worker to see an id before they are send to the ballot table or. If they can not provide one they are send to the help desk and may be issued a provisional ballot. If the county uses a computerized system to issue atvs (authorization to vote) there will/should be a red message to check I'd. Again this is only if you changed you address but there was no 'proof'

I think this Carolyn one might be real - or somebody is really jacking with people. It has her "username" that we've seen before stifsnakeslady and she just asked an Erica Parsons if her birthday is February 24, 1998 and if she was from Kannapolis, NC.

https://twitter.com/stifsnakeslady

If that's really Carolyn, and it's hard to believe it's not with using the "stifsnakeslady" user name, then it's really sad to watch her trying to follow any crumbs to locate Erica. But there should be no Stone Unturned so I can understand her mission. I'm a crumb follower too!

I took a while this morning to look at the specific twitter account under this Erica that Carolyn is following where she replied to this Erica asking if her birthday is Feb 24th. I went all the way back to 2010 on this particular Erica's Twitter messages to see if this Erica posted anything that could give me a clue, and unfortunately I found nothing of interest, other than she does not sound like somebody with a learning disability. JMO. Her twitter shows she's in Canada, which don't mean a lot as you can put anything there. She also likes to post life quotes, of which any could apply to her life or anybody for that matter. She even states in her profile, "I love listening to music and reading quotes."

The strange thing is that she has a errie similar appearance as our missing Erica Parsons. In her twitter photos, she has one with what appears to be a sister or relative who also has a "likeness" more to our missing Erica.

Her Twitter name also matches a life quote, that also matches the name on this mug:
http://www.zazzle.com/be_the_change_15_oz_mug-168628927794199115

But I can see just from "that Erica using that quote" that somebody like Carolyn, with an emotional attachment, would misconstrue that it means something else, since our missing Erica would have been age 15 the first birthday after she went missing. But, IMO, that's not what the original quote used in this Twitter account is about.

So where does that take us? IMO, nowhere at this point, but I'll keep any eye on it. :seeya:

It is acceptable to follow Erica's adoptive parents on social media as they are definitely suspect here. I can allow following her birth mom since that can was opened a long time ago. However, please refrain from sleuthing non-case players you find in either situation.

Nothing has been said about the results of red stains in the house or the 'rodents blood' on the mallet or hammer. Has the DNA been tested? So really what are LE playing at as you think that gardens everywhere would be dug up? And adoptive dad's late night bbq adventures. Seriously now. I don't think for one second she is a Castro-esq victim. Everything fits in with what Jamie said and they have seemingly no proof to contradict that and nothing to say that shes alive. Dig LE dig! Or give a parent a deal to speak. Just to end this nonsensical sham.

"According to the poster created by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Erica Parsons was last seen on November 1, 2011. That may not be an exact date, but we do know that the month of November does represent two years since the teenager was seen."

(SNIP)

"I can tell you that investigators are working the case just as they have been for months now. They still will not talk publicly and they haven't updated any new releases in several weeks. The lack of noise in the media shouldn't be mistaken for inactivity on the part of investigators."

(SNIP)

"Casey Parsons did take time to send an angry email to WBTV in recent weeks accusing us of telling lies about the financial tie ins that investigators are looking at in the case. We ran an additional story using Casey's comments and pointing out that everything in the original story was taken from statements in search warrants."

(SNIP)

"I will say that I ask investigators about this case every single day, and I check with the Clerk of Court's office every day, sometimes more than once just to see if there is anything new in the case."

I'm so glad Mr. Whisenant also wants to know the truth about Erica's disappearance and that she is not forgotten.

it was suggested earlier that it be reported, I hope the poster followed thru...just to be on the safe side

Yes, it has been reported. LE could have already known, but just incase it somehow had slipped by them, it was reported.

That story was from Oct. 8th (I've seen it before), but says "updated Nov. 7th). However, all of the comments are from early October. Wonder what the update was???

I don't know what the update was unless the adoptive couple are still going to New Orleans against the advice of their attorney. What I do know is that when I posted the link there was a video with it but it's gone now, or at least I can't find it.

Were you able to watch the video? I wonder if they added the video to the wrong story and then realized they goofed?

Yes, I did watch it before I posted the link. This afternoon when I went back to the same link the video had been removed. CP was interviewed on the phone and Carolyn was shown on the video. Wonder why the video was removed?

Strange. I looked all over their website & FB pages & can't find the video. Was there anything substantial in it?

Wonder why they pulled it?!

I think there may have been more from Carolyn that hasn't been shown before, but I'm not absolutely sure. Maybe they're holding parts back. I've been looking all over for it too and can't find anything. But I suppose if the adoptive parents really head for New Orleans we'll be informed.
