Appeals by Casey and Sandy Parsons have been rejected by federal courts, meaning the adoptive parents of missing Erica Parsons will not get reduced sentences.

Both had appealed their sentencings – Casey Parsons got 10 years and her husband, Sandy Parsons, got eight – to the U.S. Court of Appeals in Richmond. Sandy Parsons then appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court, which this month refused to hear his case.

Macdonald and Ashley told Channel 9 they visited Sandy Parsons in prison and that he told them he knows where Erica is.

"He did say when they do find her everyone will be shocked. We don't know what that means," said MacDonald.

"Bottom line is. He wants a deal," said Ashley. "If they'll give him a deal, he'll tell where she's at."

Sandy says we'd be surprised where little Erica is...the only place I'd be surprised about is respectfully buried in a cemetery.

My biggest fear is...he was a butcher, and he looked sick to his stomach per the son the next morning...this horrible set of parents used Sandy's trade to dispose of little, frail Erica in a way of never finding her. There are always meat scraps from the grocery stores butchers left over, and blood expected in those departments. Did Sandy still work at Food Lion in November 2011?

On a good note, I'm glad to see Brooklyn is finally coming out of the "Casey-spell."

As always and forever, I'm praying for Erica, and hoping and praying that ANYONE who SEES or SUSPECTS child abuse reports it immediately! Erica would not have a thread here if her family members and other adults had reported what they saw or suspected WAY BEFORE Jamie reported her missing! And I'm not referring to the children under Casey and Sandy's roof...though they could have told, I can understand their fear...

I'm a nurse, and the other day, my ring got caught on a bracket on a stretcher. When I lowered the stretcher and my ring caught, the pain in my finger was excruciating. It brought tears to my eyes, but not for my finger, but for Erica's. My pain could only have been 1/1,000,000th of what Erica's snapped fingers would have been. I have not forgotten, and cannot forget, Casey purposely snapping little Erica's fingers to punish her. Monster.

ETA: The age-progression picture saddens me because I know Casey and Sandy stole that beautiful young life from this world.

Finally decent burial of her remains can happen. Her bio mother can properly mourn her. We need the map. We need to locate any possible reports in the press of unidentifed remains if any exist. I wonder if someone finally broke and led them to her. My mind is racing a million miles a minute.

The remains were found in the Pageland Mount Croghan area of Chesterfield County Tuesday. Family members told WBTV they were asked to go to the Rowan County Sheriff's Office on Friday.
