The couple was last seen walking away from their mobile home in the Eno Mobile Home Park off Highway 70 near the Durham County line. Investigators said the couple could be trying to get to Ohio. Investigators found Ethel’s Life Track which is used to find people with cognitive or mental health needs who wander away but they haven’t found her.

Ethel, 63, is a white female approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall. She was last seen wearing a pink jacket, charcoal sweatpants, and brown boots. Leroy, 72, is about 5 feet 8 inches tall. He is wearing a dark gray sweatshirt, sweatpants, and a black toboggan.

A missing Orange County couple whose family had expressed concern about their whereabouts were found safe after they hitchhiked to Ohio, authorities said Thursday.
