The Fletcher Police Department is requesting public assistance in locating a missing man.

Police said 70-year-old Eustace Terrance Stewart was last seen after he left his residence on Cane Creek Road the morning of February 16.

According to officers, Stewart normally drives a burgundy 2009 Chevrolet Silverado truck with a North Carolina plate of XXS4133. The car also has a UNC Tarheels tag on the front bumper.

A Fletcher man who was reported missing has been found dead in Buncombe County.

Fletcher police say 70-year-old Eustace Terrance Stewart and his vehicle were found in south Asheville on the evening of Feb. 20.
